This is my exact story- omg i cut my bangs about a year ago (mid 2020) loved them for 2 days, then started hating them. They were always getting curly and i just had these big puffs on top of my head. Since I had no straightener or hair clips available to me at the time, i had to learn to live with it. Flash forward to September 2020, (beginning of school year) I hated them so much, and i didn't even think of clipping them back, so i cut them off right down to my scalp, and for a while i actually thought i had solved the problem, until i got home from school I looked into the mirror and had a mental breakdown. Currently it's 2 months into 2021, and my bangs have grown out since then. They are currently about up to my eyes. approximately the same length they were when i cut them off completely. My goal is to grow them down to my chin so that I can cut curtain bangs. The sad thing is, if my dumb self hadn't cut them off down to my scalp, I could have my goals by now. But i guess i was just so desperate not to continue the puffball look. Now i have a straightener and hair clips available in my bathroom and they are literally lifesavers

I have curly hair and I still cut my bangs. Honestly it's pretty good. The best tip I can give is to cut it longer than you want and usually that's the perfect length. If you still aren't happy with the length, trim a little and it would be just right

i have a "kind of" fast hair growth, quarantine made me looked up how to cut your hair in layers and i made it into a shaggy haircut too. it was nice considering my hair is wavy and really thick. it looked thinner but still has volume because the video i watched told me that i can still keep my length while i don't want to. then i went up to make it a bit thinner by flipping all my hair to the front and do it with razor. I ACCIDENTALLY CUT THE MID PART A LITTLE BIT AND I HAVE BANGS NOW. more like side bangs to my eyebrows. and i kept on wondering when will this shit grow back 🤠

Guys dw i went to my "trusty" hairdresser and waited for 3 hrs in reservation appointment to cut curtain bangs just to make it look botched. I cut my bangs two days ago and they were SUPER blunt and thick, like a cube on my face :(. My cousin had just gotten these beautiful wispy bangs a few days ago and she somehow convinced me to cut mine at home. The only difference: hers was done at a salon, mine from my own two hands. Five months ago I had the brilliant idea to get bangs. I brought a picture to my stylist. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I immediately hated it. My bang growth obsession began. I read every article, watched every RU-vid video. My bangs were more in the center with longer hair on the sides and they were textured. They landed about an inch above my eyebrows. I have no idea what made me do this because I’ve grown out bangs several times. It’s been five months so the shortest part is now below my nose. Sometimes I kind of like my hair but it’s a pain in the butt styling them. Your video is my absolute favorite. It gives me hope. I can’t wait until they get bast my chin. I’m thinking that will be in a year. I will never get bangs again. Thank you for the hope.
