Next detox your dreads Apple cider vinegar baking soda and lemon with water sit your hair in a sink n let it do the work after wash and shampoo n don’t forget the conditioner it a lot of build up in dreads hope this helps

That's why I decided not to go back into the loc game after cutting mines. Locs definitely accumulate build up from your dead skin cells, dust, debris, products. I had the same thing in mines. Even detoxing will not 100% remove everything. It still gets trapped. No wonder why my scalp was itchy as hell for 2 years straight!
