I cut open 3 POUNDS of Malawi agates on my saw! I used my 6" Hi Tech Diamond saw to cut these African gems. I got these amazing minerals from my friend Joe, aka, Fordite Frenzy: / forditefrenzy - Check out his page to get some agates for yourself!

OK, so I have no idea how many videos of yours I've watched (I've had the flu, and I've been stuck in bed feeling sorry for myself). First off, love the passion for your craft you have and the care you put into your videos. They are really well filmed and edited. I have one takeaway, and that is I'd love to see some before and afters. You seem to pick a favourite in most videos. I think it would be really cool to see some quick snapshots of your favourite in all its polished glory at the end of the video. The other side of that is whilst I get that nature does most of the hard work in creating such beauty. You certainly have skill in bringing out the best in the material you work with, and you should definitely showcase that more. Thanks for helping me get through this nightmare flu. I really appreciate it.

Could you take the duds and tumble them? I'd love to see what would happen. If you don't tumble maybe you could ask Rob/Michigan Rocks to try it. That would be so cool.

Brush up on your local laws, figure out if you're in a state park, national park, or "beach," and that should help you get on the right track. I'm in Oregon and at the beach you're allowed to take X amount per year, not exceeding Y amount per day. I think I'm wrong on the numbers but it's like... 5gal per year, not exceeding 1gal per day.
