Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I now focus on my vlog full time.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).

A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and a Canon EOS M50.

A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.

What lovely memories to look back! on this video was so nice. Your sons have such empathy and looked so concerned about the fox with his missing arm, They even tried to fix it or at least make it better.. loved when Jackson said your bird was rubbish lol, you are such a lovely mum and Matt is a cool dad...have 10 children !!

When Matt starting singing “it’s all about the kids bout the kids not parents” lol oh gosh, so true. It can be difficult to schedule in some time to do things just for ourselves, but so important! I always am so envious of how much energy you seem to have in your videos, you get so much done in a regular day and still seem so alert throughout the day! If that was me in your video after making the kids’ dinner I’d be slouched over the kitchen counter rubbing my eyes trying to stay awake while attempting to maintain a normal level of interaction with the other humans around me. You on the other hand do the dishes with a pep in your step plus have company over afterward! Lol I would love to have that much energy.

When I first started teaching Zumba - it took me a whole year to get to a point where I felt good during the workout and after! Then i had my baby this year and I feel like I’m starting over! So hard but I know my body can do it - it just takes so much training and investment! It’s so worth it though!!! I think soon I’ll be getting back on track and eating good & exercising! Emily you have such a lovely little family unit. You do so much for everyone, a mothers job is never done! I have a 5 month old and had a very traumatic birth which has really put me off trying for another. I would just love for my baby to have a sibling at some point but I’m scared to go through it all again. Your boys seem to have a lovely relationship. I did a half marathon a few years ago, I’d only ever ran 3 miles and didn’t train at all. I’m not super fit but mentally the reason was all I needed, the atmosphere is also just so beautiful. A really great experience!

I haven’t watched it all but in case I can’t make it all tonight I wanted to say well done Emily. I managed a half marathon before my son was born and then it was difficult to get back. I am still struggling to find time and energy. But, I know it is hard even without kids and 10miles goal is impressive. I send lots of energy towards your general direction! You will do this! I’m doing the couch to 5k and haven’t run for over 10 years and even then it was a slow jog round the field in PE 😂 I’m actually finding it really easy to tie in to my busy life as it’s only 20-30 minutes and it gradually steps it up so I feel really good and like I’ve made progress, especially as I was hugely unfit before :) x
