I couldnt agree more. These trucks can tow a 747. But the government and auto manufacturers gotta keep the racket going.

love the bed liner> looks like a real mans truck. thanks for the vid:) I have a 2002 gmc 2500 4d lb with 8.1 and with a truck camper it makes it a little lite in the front.

Great choice going with air bags. I agree, totally adjustable is the best way to go. I have mounted an air tank under the bed of truck with a leveling valve for an air supply. A good sized air tank held enough that I would only need to refill with shop air once a week or so. I am not a fan of the little 12volt compressors for these systems. I have 2 trucks that have them and I replace them way too often.

I would have thought with a leveling valve it would exhaust the air from a tank quickly going over bumps etc. I know a big truck system exhaust a lot when suspension moves. I guess these don't move as much cause the spring is carrying some of the load still. I'm hoping just to set it at 30lbs empty and add air once a month or so not sure if that's gonna work out though, time will tell.

You’ll enjoy those firestone air bags. I’ve had mine for 2 years. Not a moment of regret. I almost forgot....if you don’t like seeing hints of the red air line. You can get some black 1/4 wire loom and cover the entire lines.

Also thank if it was 10000lbs on the axle with the airbags there is ,4 points of contact witch lowers the lbs to a square weight on the axle

Chase them bags make a huge difference. As for weights and measures the OEM'S were using in house engineering specs . I believe they are all going with SAE specs now and more realistic weights.

I haven't got to try them towing yet. been driving around with about 30lbs in them and doesn't seem to bad empty, probably would on a 1/2 ton but these 3/4 and 1 ton trucks ride stiff anyway so no big difference.

Thanks for showing me how easy they install. Now I'm buying a set for my truck.

hey Chase you could mount an air tank on your frame rail and use a ball valve to add air as needed on the road. I took the leveling valve off the cab on my big truck and I use a ball valve to add a little air about once a week and it rides better than it even did. thanks for sharing
