It's not often I dig bands after a vocalist change, but having seen both versions of the band live, they both got it. I always loved those early records though, raw as they may be.
This is amazing. I listened to their first record in 2007, but since completely forgot about this band. This is the best brutal sound I have listened to in a long time.
Still loving this video so much. Not sure what the chances are but man I’d love to see them tour, they’re the main deathcore staple I’ve never gotten to see
@social_hater For me, it was the 90s and early 2000s but that is not to discredit your comment, friend. Definitly the staples made their name at that time because it seems like everyone wants to be Deathcore and in my opion you really have to stand out now as artists to float to the surface
@billyturk8117 Dude get back into it brother. My friend 2 years ago my snowmobile landed on top of me and then rolled over me again down a ravine. I have had over 20 surgeries and live in chronic pain everyday. I justcwant to go to shows again. Sounds like you are a talented artist. Do it bro. Start a band, no one cares about agae as long as you sound good and get the crowds attention. I wish you kind words brother
I have been following you all since the beginning, and I am so stoked and grateful that you still crush it and still keep your talents alive. Man I saw you with the Acacia Strain at the Nile theater in Mesa A.Z. probably 8 or 10 years ago. That was the most memorable show I ever saw. I was close to the A.Z H.C. scene and I can speak for my friends by saying we had so much f****** fun. We all walked out with blood on our faces and the euphoria of being just high on life lasted for days and the nostalgia right now watching and listening to Misery Cloud. Brother I remember the whole crowd exploded into a giant blood bath of genuine good fun. I remember security saying before you played." it's only a 30 minute set I think" security were our friends as well and I'm chuckling typing this, they had their hands full... im not going to get into some deep s*** but my life is very different now physically and mentally Thank you for doing what you do. I say this with humility, you as well as other bands make some days that are very difficult to go on because chronic pain is so bad sometimes I don't want to see tomorrow but im smiling right now as you just said, "how we doing out there, let's pick it up" I never want to be without artists like yourselves then ots all gone. I wish all of you the kindest words of gratitude. The past 4 or 5 days ive been non stop listening to music for a positive reason...
Would you tell me something, brother. I've been listening to IDW for a while now and I read some comments about their last member. Are they talking about former singers or what? I really wanted to know, if that's the case, which albums are from the former singer and the ones that are not. Thanks
@paulovictorvm The first L.P. which was independent was called "What You Deserve." With the first vocalist, who I believe was named Jonathan. The second L.P. with Jonathan, which is one of my favorite albums, was "Amedist the Bloodshed." im not sure what happened, but the first vocalist was not on their 3rd L.P. called "Malevolence" Jamie was the vocalist for I Declare War for all future albums. I am so grateful I was able to see them play live. Every show was so brutal and nostalgia thinking back. If im wrong on any of my information im ok with constructive criticism please. I hope I was able to help you out brother. Take care
@@allshallperish1100 it was an accident. I guess dude didn't realize my friend was next to him and ended up kicking him in the head. It was scary but everyone made sure he was ok
@@bubbyghost2974 I don't think big chocolate was ever in the band, OG vocalist is Jonathan Huber. they did collab in the I Declare Goddess track which is gnarly as fuck a decade and a half later
@@lil_chimpus yup Huber was the original vocalist. Cameron argon did Disfiguring the Goddess. And they were all friends. But Cameron (big chocolate) was never apart of I Declare war.
People just stand and watch deathcore. It’s sad. The whole reason deathcore was made is to make the crowd mosh and be violent. It’s literally a spawn from hardcore. Note what he says in the beginning of the set 😂
Agreed.. I'm 44 and I remember for a very short time it was confusing to us as fans because some would say Hardcore, others Beatdown. Some artists did not want to be called Deathcore. Things got worked out but the one thing they all brought was good violently fun time with some good friends and I can't remember a time walking our with at least my nose bleeding. I miss shows. F*** CANCER I MISS YOU SO MUCH MEAN PETE !!!
