He bombed the British military HQ, he murdered British soldiers and boobytrapped their bodies. When the State of Israel was declared, he and his buddies, like the bloodlust of a fox in the hen house, went door to door evicting and murdering Palestinians. And so it has been for 75 years. My father, who had been educated for the priesthood, told his elder brother, in no uncertain terms, what he thought of his actions and behaviour towards our neighbours. Some of the coverage by journalists has absolutely sickened me. I watched a Palestinian diplomat who had just lost 6 members of his family almost break having to consistently tell the interviewer that he doesnt support Hamas. He received no compassion or understanding for the loss of his family.

One person in that interview sat there and condemned the slaughter of innocent human beings on both sides of a fence. The other sat there outraged and condemned the murders on one side of a fence, whilst justifying the brutal murder of innocent human beings on the other side.

It definitely felt like Owen was treated differently to Margaret here. Margaret spoke at length at the start and neither Owen or the host interrupted. However, Owen wasn't given much time before Margaret constantly interrupted him. Then the host kept saying "okay, okay" when he was talking in other words "okay you've had your say, let Margaret reply". Pointless inviting him on if they weren't going to allow him to give his view before responding.
