I am old, single, and retired. Your show has led me to not accept any phone calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they have a serious issue, they will leave a message. From that message I call my known service providers with phone numbers taken from my monthly bills to double check. Thank you for your service.

After you've found out from your service providers that they are scammers, why not have some fun with them if you have some time? Tell them old stories. Tell them the phone keeps cutting out and ask them to repeat themselves again. Take your time trying to find a pen. You now have to find another pen that works. Tell them that you're hard at hearing and that they need to talk louder. You lost your glasses and you can't tell the difference between numbers on your credit card because they are too small to see. Your arthritis makes you type slow. Waste their time while entertaining yourself!

When the scammers ask you how you know their names, their files names, and so forth, suggest to them that maybe there is someone among them who is a double agent, providing you with information about their operation. Planting the seeds of doubt in the scammers' minds will help destroy them from the inside. They won't know who to trust.

A lot of like content farms and stuff post dangerous content that can get people hurt and have like 20 million. Also don’t make fun of someone’s English, they probably aren’t a native speaker and no one should have to cater to your language needs. I think their english was quite understandable

I work at Walgreens and have intercepted multiple elderly people who were gonna be scammed! I am 73 years old and still working to supplement my social security check…I consider it my ministry! Keep up the incredible work!

I work at Best Buy and all the time older people come in saying a gift card they bought has no money on it. It hurts me so much to let them know they were scammed. Thank you for bringing awareness to scams like this!

It’s surprised more shopkeepers don’t realise what’s happening when a confused or nervous customer comes in to purchase like four cards at $500 value. Maybe they do query but the customer doesn’t let on.

@@stanrix I work at a grocery store & we have to ask if it's above $300 or if they're buying multiple cards with high amounts. I've managed to steer away about a dozen old people and one in her 30s that fell for it. Some lazy workers don't ask or care though.

My parents are older and watch a lot of air tv. None of these scams are talked about on tv for the older generations. This stuff should be all over the news and commercials instead of the constant Medicare commercials. My dad actually fell for one of these scams, but thankfully no money was sent. I wish this stuff was sent out to the older generations to inform them.

You are mostly right. I have seen a couple of mentions on my local newscasts, but not nearly enough is covered. One reason might be that there are endless scams out there of all types through email, phone calls, texting and to a much lesser extent, snail mail. I have experienced all of them myself and they are ever changing. It's a numbers game. They just need one or two gullible victims to cash in big time. Like most predators they prey on the old and weak(minded). I hate these A-holes!

The old people in my family have worked very hard all their lives to contribute to what we all enjoy today. I for one will not sit idly by while scummmy scammers take everything they have worked all their lives for. Pierogi....I salute you sir.

Just started following your channel. I actually got a few emails from “Norton” the red flag for me was the way stuff was worded in the email. Plus the customer service was not an 800 number but rather a standard landline/ cellphone number. I usually just delete those emails

My grandfather LOVES getting these scammer calls. He's 96 and has been getting these calls for the last 7 years. He will ask for one particular scammer just to make him very angry.

I love the work that you’re doing. I sell life insurance and everyday I speak to victims or people who have been preyed on, and it makes my job incredibly hard. Congrats on doing the right thing and protecting those who are vulnerable.

@@ravenheart369 if you had read any comments on these videos you'd see the hundreds of Indian people expressing frustration and shame over this phenomenon. you are a bad person if you think it's simply an issue of race or culture signed, an AMERICAN, a citizen of a country that is not exactly well-loved around the world because of a certain type of American we all know and love. hey, that type of person is exactly like you, I wonder if you're one of the "demons" we enjoy here.

For some reason , very recently I have had a plethora of scam emails in my inbox. Most are attempted delivery from 'IPS' with the 'UPS' logo and also other "delivery" companies. I have re-directed them to my spam folder but it's interesting that all of a sudden my email is being targeted. I am of course, on the wrong side of 60, so I am in the scammers preferred age bracket. However, I watch your videos and a few other scambaiters too and I know not to respond to them. I also got a while back, emails that said I had won a prize from a local supermarket, all were badly worded/spelled and very obviously bogus. But these scammers work very hard at getting our money. Keep up the good work!
