I appreciate you using my roster in a vid. I could've removed more players but I went by the service time on their player cards and kept players that were under 1 year. Great video as always, keep up the great work!
Love the videos. look forward to them watching them. You're definitely the best mlb youtuber. Keep up the great work and the great content you make :) and its pronounced brandon fought
Got a challenge for you with some rules that should make it really difficult: Section A: Set up and rules 1. Time limit of 5 years 2. Fantasy draft 3. In the fantasy draft the highest overall player you can draft is 75 overall except 1 player at any overall except you can’t draft this player till round 5. 4. The highest overall player you can sign is 80 overall 5. The highest overall player you can trade for is 85 overall 6. The highest contract you can give out in year 1 or 2 is 10 mil AAV(includes extensions) 7. The highest contract you can give out in the years following is 15 mil AAV(includes extensions) 8. Max of 5 signings per year(not including extensions) and 3 trades per year in offseason 9. Max of 2 trades at the deadline Section B: Goals 1. Make it to the playoffs 4 times 2. Win the division 2 times 3. Make it to the World Series 2 times 4. Win the World Series 5. Reach 425 regular season wins in the time frame(85 / year) 6. Be ranked 1st overall of all teams to enter a season 7. Win 100 games in a season OPTIONAL Section C: Player awards and performances 1. Draft a generational or near generational player(75+ overall, 95+ potential, age 18-20) 2. Win an MVP 3. Win a Cy Young 4. Have a player reach a 8.0 or more war season(10.0 if you want to make it really difficult). 5. Win a hitting triple crown 6. Win a pitching triple crown 7. Strike out 300 batters in a season with 1 player 8. hit 50 home-runs in a season with 1 player 9. Reach a 1.000 ops with a player 10. Post a sub 2.25 era with a pitcher(non closer) 11. Record 45 saves with your closer. If I were to name it it would be like “Extreme Franchise” Note: If you sign a player below or at 80 overall and they finish the season at an overall higher than the limit you can still use this player(same thing with the trades). In the fantasy draft you can draft players with as high of salaries as you want(like you could draft Miggy but that might be dumb). No rules on the draft as if there was I think this challenge would be impossible. Manually draft your team until every player in the pool is below 76 overall so you don’t accidentally get a higher overall player
Hey Ant know I’m talking about other topic but, when you draft a generational player where do you recommend to send him? Triple A? Double A? Or do you take him straight to major leagues? And for how long?
I'd start them in AA, year 1 keeping an eye on their stat lines. If they improve quickly I move them to AAA for the remainder of the season. Year 2 is the same but potentially split between AAA/MLB
