I've just come across this guy right now and his last name and mixed appearence made me think he's totally half-Indian. Plus so many Indians go into medicine too.
Most of the Indians in my medical school are Punjabi, and yes, many of them are Sikhs or Hindus. At the least, I thought North Indian. Glad you felt comfortable to disclose your Punjabi heritage!
I always knew you were Indian. I am glad to see you embracing your Indian roots. Fellow Gujarati here, also working in healthcare. Recently graduated with my MPH ! :)
Im indian and I definately thought you were mixed race but anyway god bless you and I hope you have a succesful business in the future! I love your medschool insiders videos
Dear Dr. Jubba, I thought you were East Asian. That is nice to know. I really want to do non clinical medicine because I realized I dislike clinical medicine. Please help!!
IMO At first glance, you look Puerto Rican or Latino of some kind. Do people walk up to you speaking Spanish? Last name is obviously Indian though brotha. Either way, it’s all love, thanks for being you
Cochin! Hope you enjoyed Kerala (as someone with roots from there!). Hope the disaster isn't about Kerala because I literally just started your video lol edit: OK finished through, glad your mom is OK! super scary :(
I really recommend Cape Town. South Africa in generally is a melting pot of cultures, beauty and amazing friendly down to earth ppl. I knw im bias as im south african. Im also doctor and i c so many ppl come and gain trauma experience in our casualty units. Bt pls do consider CPT for the history, culture and to experience our lifestyle.
@@kevinjubbalmd Thanx 4 replying means alot to me. All places u mentioned is my home away from home. U usually make my day. To be honest i feel alot time like failure in my career bt i listen to u and i gave my 1st talk on suicide in high risk professions and hw we can intervene before its to late. But i was in real bad place many yrs ago, thank you again for being uplifting and inspiring.
Dr, you don't have to blab who and what you are everywhere, 24/7. But never, ever deny who and what you are, to anyone. Dr H, MD, Sinai NY grad, and very, very Jewish. (And oh, would I love to sit down with you and discuss Sikh traditions. Sikhs and Jews have a huge amount of common tradition, it can't just be coincidence.) So tell me, what do you pack (medicine wise) when you go to India? We are going in December...
Funny how some people couldn’t tell you’re Indian haha met a handful of Indian people in my life and I knew instantly! Different ethnicities are to be celebrated, it’s such an enrichment to life and society, anyone who uses that to shit on anyone is just ignorant tbh.
Look very ambiguous, certainly not European, but you could claim Mexican or Arab or Asian from the Philippines, maybe not Chinese, but you could pass in Latin America as a native and around 60% of the world.Just by looks and being light brown. Desi people look like hispanics and Latinos. Arabs and middle eastern. Especially from the North of India.
I’ve had people start speaking Spanish to me multiple times thinking I’m Hispanic when younger and more tan. Some thought I was native when I traveled each to Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Indians on the dance team didn’t believe I was Indian. Funny and dont feel like you fit anywhere
