I Designed and 3D Printed a Fishing Rod Holder Mount for my Fishing EBike - Rad Rover 6 Plus

So in my previous Rad Rover 6+ Fishing Ebike video I showed you guys some clamps I got to mount rod holders off Amazon - amzn.to/3EqJgMt
Well turns out those clamps didn't hold tight enough and would twist around on bumps so I was constantly adjusting them.
Also it was difficult to get the angle needed for the lower rod to not hit my foot while peddling if I had my 10' rod in the lower rod holder.
The lower rod holder is good for when you are biking around trees or traffic signs as it doesn't angle the rod up as high where it can potentially hit trees and other objects.
I designed this with a spacer to get the optimal angle so a 10' rod wouldn't hit any parts of the bike or my foot during peddling.
I plan on making a Rad small basket mount also so people with other Rad models can utilize the mount.

Would you be able to provide the length of that rod's butt from the reel foot to the end of the rod? I would like to compare that to a few rods I have to see if it works.

24” from the reel stem to the butt. If you have the small basket attached to your rack I’m making a rod holder mount for that which will have more of an upright angle. The spacer is for lining up the rod left and right. So they didn’t criss cross also cause the mount slants in at the end.

@@LesFishingMoreCatching Thank you! Currently, the large basket from rad is out of stock and it has been for a while. I may end up getting an after-market one but make a mounting adapter. But the angled bracket in this video is definitely the best option for rod holding ive seen yet.
