Jack needs to get the "Structural Integrity" mod so that buildings crumble like he wants. Please thumbs up this so he sees it for the next teardown vid :)
“Could you imagine if a game with a really intricate story had these mechanics?” I dunno about a ‘really intricate’ story, but Red Faction Guerilla has fantastic destruction mechanics and also a story.
There's just something infinitely comical about running about on the map, gleefully tossing bombs and meteors like you're the Joker AND Thanos, as The Blue Danube and Swan Lake play softy in the background.
Busting up stuff for real is really stress reliving as well. Any time I have a friend that needs stuff destroyed, I volunteer. Case in point, my brother had to get rid of his couch a few weeks back because part of the frame had broken and he didn't want to take it to the landfill in one piece, so after getting it out of his house I literally tore it apart until it was just a pile of broken scrap wood, cloth, and metal, then set the pile on fire. Felt like I had relieved at least 6 months worth of stress.
@@michaelcallan5336 I would recommend finding better ways to deal with your stress. Storing it up until you can take it out on something isn't healthy and setting things on fire is extremely dangerous.
Hey Jack, if your wanting to cut something in half, would recommend the mod called "Revengeance Katana" (or if your not wanting to type that all out in the steam workshop, just type "katana" and it should still come up! Have fun!!
He should have an RTX 3090 by now imo but according to the internet he doesn't. It's just a 2080 Ti. I have two and will update to one or two RTX 4090 whenever it comes out. His specs aren't THAT great anymore.
"why was i doing things the *_normal_* way?!" says jack, while using a blue shirt and glasses, looking strikingly similar to a character in a movie who wanted to stop being normal-
sorry dancer geek here. but i absolutely loved hearing waltz of the flowers from nutcracker in the background. nutcracker has a special place in my heart and so does jack.
I believe there are mods that add realistic physics to where when you destroy somethings support the whole thing crumbles instead of it staying together and just falling
Jack, you should get the Revengeance Katana mod as well. You can literally cut buildings in half with the swing of a sword! That together with the structural integrity mod is just amazing!!
When jack doesn’t know there is a fly mode, and a portal gun mod, and a gravity gun mod, and a bunch of scary map mods, and a mini New York mod .. I could go on forever
You should so definitely continue playing the story - as the missions are actually linked, and there's a story between Lee and Gordon where you may be facing off against the dam once again!
@sexx I feel sad for you. That's a messed up thing to say, and you're either actually the one rotting in hell right now, or you're a child, which is really weird that a child would actually write that, like man if you're a child, please don't let go of your pureness and innocence and true self so early, you'll regret it deeply one day when you look in the mirror and see who you've become.
Definitely keep playing the heists, the missions sometimes have completely unique features and some of which are really impressive and fun to play. I won't spoil much, but you're in for a treat.
@@swasome5821 Yeah, jack said he wouldn't use the mods for the main story and he'll check out mods again at a later date once he's played more missions.
**spoilers ** you've been warned Good news. It does have a good story. You just havnt gotten far enough. There is a bank vault you can get into that very very hard to Crack, missions where you destroy the dam, come back and the town is floode, and a top secret robot facility. Just get thorough the sluggish start and boom. Also collect valuables. You'll need the money for upgrades
