Why have your own populations when you can simply steal all the austrians and make them beat up people to give you money?

They actually nerfed this. It was way worse on day 1. 12 million russians living in sweden was the best i did until i needed a supercomputer to run the game

i did the same on release as jan mayen with GB. cramping more than a million people on that small island. even the eventual debuff to attraction due to severe overcrowding coudnt stop me.

I've done terrible things this way. Such as forming Super Germany as Austria and getting such a huge economy that Russia falls down to being a major power without me even attacking them (!), then forcing them into a customs union and literally sucking out millions of Russians and making them work in my economy. It's so funny.

@@jaythepotato lustigerweise hast du es auch falsch ausgesprochen. Ein Kollege aus Mecklenburg hat mir mal gesagt, dass es anders ausgesprochen wird als es geschrieben ist, mit einem langem "E". Also eher wie "Mehcklenburg"

Tried this as Montenegro. Tooltip says Austria will join me but never does. Re-tried this a countless times with Montenegro. Am I missing something obvious?

the tooltip is super inaccurate now when you try to do something similar - it will say they may join even if you have no sway to give them (like you cant get them to fight the small states so you can puppet them if they have nothing else they get out of it). also you HAVE to have your overlord be swayed in the first phase of the play only, you aren't able to ask them for help after that initial stage.
