Like I said in the video, I'm getting fed up with people on RU-vid offering finance advice, expecting us to be able to follow when they don't give us the steps, they show us their profit but don't show us how they go there!

Been doing this for years now. Make some extra dough every month which is always a plus. Do not be greedy and 40 to 60% is the way to go. And I usually select those horses that have had at least 5 races in their career. Now I am trying to work out which is most profitable either the ones which have form so the horses that say have had 4 out of 5 dobs in their last 5 races and also if flat or jump races are better. You need thousands of samples to get these right and even if I have years of experience I still think that my sample is small to get a clear enough picture.

I'm glad to hear it can work long term, I feel a few people will not get a hit for around 2-3 races then will just stop doing it, what's your strike rate looking like at the moment if you don't mind me asking

@@FirstHandFinances sure. I tested it for months before taking a real go at it. You need to filter around the best %s and also depending on the race and the price.

Remember with dobbing you need over 50% success rate once you factor in commission to turn a profit. I found it too risky as a strategy and more like gambling. You need to approach it with a view to how you'd approach betting on an even money outcome which is what you are doing really, lots of research and the selections need to tick a lot of boxes. What about this strategy mate in on the exchange.. football.. back the favourite pre match as long as playing at home and they are in the top 4 league position of their league and the odds are between 1.8 to 2.1.. straight bet pre match and leave it till full time. This works and you only need a 55% success rate.

Yep! So if it doesn't get matched you'll lose your money, so you either double or lose :)

I am thinking about doing a name and shame video and currently you are on my list..... not as a con artist but just as someone that has little info and is ignorant, in this video you totally neglect how much money was matched at each price, horses often DOB with just pennies matched at that price or with a queue involved which mean that price is worthless...... I actually think you think you are giving out decent info and I like you, so please get in touch with me, someone that does this for a fulltime living and I will helply help you provide the right info...... FYI..... I could make billions paper trading very easy, really money is a totally different game!

Hey man, I really appreciate you’re comment, whenever I was looking for double or busts I was always searching for races with enough liquidity. These videos are mainly for me doing my own research on how to try make money myself, I just thought I’d document the process, I’m always open to feedback and criticism :) so if I ever make a mistake please point it out and I’ll pin the comment so other viewers can see it, as I’ve done in the past

sorry , can you explain how you picked your selections via Betfair timefrom, you look at horses last ten runs to see if they are regular DOB , at what percentage or number do you use that for you selection?e.g you pick a horse with who had 8 out of its last 10 runs halve in price? how? thanks
