I've tried this strategy for a while now and I find it to be consistent and profitable on a small scale, which is what I look for. It works even better on 20/20 cricket matches as there is great price volatility and immensely liquid markets. Unfortunately; they are not as frequent as tennis matches

Laying the first set winner is a favourite tennis trading strategy that I like to use, mainly when the pre match favourite loses the first set is when I will get involved,

Injuries in a game can swing the odds markedly and happen quite often. Some players will play on despite the injury and try hang in there. Famous game recently between Kozlov v Dimitrov. Have look at the highlights- incredible drama- both players went as low as 1.05 on each player in the last set!

Really interesting i never thought of doing this, i personally use bet angel and have allot of my stuff automated as i work a normal job during the day, its maining horses that drop in price i just give the automation the selections and it will happly chugg away during the day but i might have to set some thing up for this as it would be really simple to do and just test it with baby £5 stakes see what happens, i think your stop on with picking even odds as there no strong winner there and ou would hope them odds was go up and down allot during the match, you should look into bet angel as you can use practice mode and simulate allot of this set and forgot for a month then return and see the results

@@yosibest the simple way is to just have it place a lay bet at fixed odds but for the "Applies to selection" set as EVERY selection

@@yosibest i have mine set that way but also to place the bets 10 seconds after the match goes into play, some times there is delays in the matches or the canceled so best to have the lays go in during the inplay and not before

A very simple strategy and easy to do ,but it does seem it's taking a punt against trading. I think you need some player stats to help filter the games, like H to H and current form. But crunching more data would be more informative before placing any serious money.

If you watch a match and a player goes to 1.01 and decide to enter the market you would be at the very back of a very long queue.

1.01 is a strategy used in a lot of lay bets across Betfair this is why you see them wtih volume all the time. Also Laying £1 at 1.01 is a £0.10p loss with lay as a liability. In another Video somewhere someone layed 4000 football matches at 1.01 and was up from it. Horse racing 1.01 strategy can be very profitable I have never bothered to try it in Tennis. I used this strategy when starting out, now I have way better ways to be 95% in profit from any event using bots that I spent month after month creating and tweaking to get consistency in automated betting.

Let’s say you lay both players at odds of 1.5. Two things can happen. Both bets get matched so you will lose £5 on the player that wins and £10 on the player that loses. Therefore a £5 profit. If only one bets gets matched you will lose £5 as that player will win. Hope that helps.

this strategy will surely work for cricket and inplay horse racing .but its a very very bad strategy for tennis.for tennis this strategy wont work ull be a big time loser.
