I Did Every Heroic on the Cataclysm Beta... Here's What I Learned

Classic is already pre-nerfed. Both content nerfs and class nerfs. Players will never experience how OP some things really were

Cata was the only expansion I missed but from what I’ve seen it looks quite good I can’t wait to try it

Heroics being too easy sounds very disappointing, I was looking forward to relive that hard heroics experience, it could be that back in the days heroics were not done using 4.3 balance, and that player characters are much stronger than before. Hopefully they buff the heroics properly so they don't become a snoozefest like the beginning of wrath.

This is sad. I wish they did the prenerf dungeons like some private servers opted in doing and it was great. Seems like they chose to do the post nerf versions of dungeons...

Would you consider making speedrun topic videos? I wanna try to put heroics to the test.

With spells disapearing from your spellbook, I had it happen consistently with vaniish on my rogue but making a /cast vanish macro would still let me use vanish regardless of if it was in my spellbook or not.

i do remember healing being super tough! i almost gave up on healing cause I was getting flamed. but i low key hope it stays difficult. but knowing WoW and the wow community they will make it vert easy...

Would be great if they kept the difficulty from pre-nerfed dungeons like the start of the expansion back in the days.

Seems a little premature for a video like this since soo many mechanics are missing from bosses and so many classes don't work properly. I imagine they will be harder when everything is fully complete. But could be wrong. Maybe a "Part 2" for this video would be good at the tail end of the beta

They definitely have the nerfed version of the heroics on the beta. Hopefully they change it back to the release version and then nerf 3-4 months in. The heroics were challenging with quest reward gear.

I can understand that there are some new bugs, like DC bug, because they use a different type of server/clients then for 14 years ago. But broken quest and missing talents? They have the original bug free expansion, can somebody explain this for me? Or is it shit... we did swipe the HD with the original cata cod 5 years ago, and now we use different secondary sources to stitch something together.

I played old cata since launch. Heroics were hard not because people were bad, the heroics were hard because of hight damage mobs had. They nerfed them and done. On beta you are currenly playing cata version 4.4.0 or something like that, where heroics are already nerfed, thats why you didnt experince that dificulty... The same happend with wotlk classic. Even if we had naxx content available in phase 1, it didnt mean we played actual 3.1.x wotlk version. We played the latest one (like 3.4 or whatever) with all fixes and balance applied during the all content with its pros and cons.

Meh, i hope they'll buff the heroics. They were tuned really good back then.

Damn blizzard did not send me Beta yet again so i was forced to go on a private server and freshen up my memory on Cata -kinda glad i did that :) seems pointless to use my free time on a bugged half working version when i can actually test everything with lets say decent scripting . :)

Dude it’s just Hc dungeons, no1 wants em to be hard. You do raiding for hard content.

Your video is missing a lot of info and misguiding people Many bosses arent doing their mechanics or doing normal versions of them Feral dps is good because its bugged and doing about double dmg My point is, pls dont draw any conclusions this early, beta is in a very rough state and you just telling ppl how everything is easy without context

Talk about making a youtube video when you have no idea what you're talking about. Saying they nerfed heroics later into the expansions for people to catch up is wild given they nerfed the dungeons a month in lmao. People were just awful in wrath just as they are now in wotlk classic. Pre-nerf will make loads of noobs quit
