Did my first half marathon in April 2024 and have been enhancing my training for the next one with more focused speed workouts. The Asics Novablast 4 lately have been my favorite all around shoe, but have been eyeing this as my quicker option for threshold work/possible upcoming racer. I cant wait to get stuck into these I’ve worn the 2 and 3 and I prefer the 3’s (I’m in the minority apparently) so if they’re more like the 3s i know I’m going to love these, top video mate!
You're not in a minority; the Speed 2 lovers are just very vocal; the ES3 are great, and far more versatile than the ES2, which I like, but not nearly as much as the 3.

I have the Speed 2 and 3. Love the Speed 2 but Speed 3 got mushy in the forefoot after a couple of hundred kilometres. Very curious if Speed 4 will get mushy as the km rack up ❓
