I picture the letter "T" on the basket, with the stem being the pole and the top of the letter being the band of the basket. It's where the two lines on the letter T meet that I aim for my wrist flick on 30-footers. I'm always staring at that letter "T" and focusing on it. Helps me. I'm not a pro but I'm consistently about 65% from circle's edge. Wish I could throw a good drive, and have my body back from 1998!
That seems like a reasonable way to trick yourself, but at his level, I would think it's more to be in control of your thoughts rather them be in control of you. Mental maturity.
@@brokenrecord3523 Basically what I am trying to say is that when something doesn't go the way you hoped, or you make a mistake, don't dwell on it. Instead think about what went wrong, make a plan for next time, then move on and get back in the game.
Agreed. When throwing with a slight hyzer, the disc should be right at the pole, NOT your aim. Remember, your disc is coming in from the right (right handed) the longer the put is.
I'm not sure i understand, what you guys are saying. I have a slight hyzer put. Where should i aim? Visualize the putter hitting the pole sligthly from the right side?
So he says he aims at the pole of the basket and then when he talks about the hyzer angle he said he likes to aim towards the right side of the basket?
I think what’s missing here is his description of his completely unique stroke. How was that not covered!?! There is not another person who putts like that…he opens his hand past the pole ends with his palm up…it’s beautiful to watch. That’s what I want to “learn” about…the rest of it is like every other putting video I’ve ever watched. Practice your brains out, and aim at the basket… Oh, thanks…
