Glad to see another fan of I was wrong. If you haven't seen it...check out Lost in Vegas react to I was wrong. They were huge fans about 4 songs in and it's classic why I love RU-vid reactions. Have a blessed week. Cliff is the best!!!
Chris and Justin Timberlake blew me away, I am not a fan of Justin's bubblegum music, but the couple of songs I heard them sing together are magnificient... so much blues..
ALL THE YASSES. it is often overlooked... but it's perfectly a stripped-down solitary vibe is perfection. I throw that one out every time I can... love hearing him with him group, and if you haven't seen him on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert w he and his wife singing to each other it is worth a watch... you can just see they are singing to one another...audience is witness to it.
Death row is my favorite non-live song by Chris Stapleton it puts you in a whole other space😊😊😊 this is his best live in my opinion and I was wrong live at ACL is just as good😊😊
HONESTLY bro i HAVEN'T heard Chris Stapleton sing a bad one yet ok he has 8 Grammy 's for a reason Tennessee whiskey .. It's a man's world .. The national anthem .. Shameless cover .. Broken halos ... There's something for EVERYONE he's truly an amazing artist so welcome to the rabbit hole enjoy the ride😂😂👍👍
Imagine having such a powerful voice that you're able to drag so much emotion out of people without saying much at all. The man is brilliantly talented.
@CliffBeats thanks for a great reaction! Chris is a living Legend. Writes his own songs unless occasional cover/tribute. Soo good LIVE performances! Please react to his performance “2021 CMA Awards “Cold”. 🔥. He won Grammys,CMA’s,etc., for it. Thanks again! Look forward to seeing more Chris reactions!
In an interview he’s said he’s written nearly 200 songs for other artists including Adele , Joss Stone, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, George Strait and many others. He was a professional song writer first.
To add to this, you should know that he went to a small club to check out another singer and he was recognized in the audience and asked to sing. He said he didn’t have his guitar with him, so he borrowed one that they had, and sang like that! I have never known of another performer that is ALWAYS better in person than in a recording studio.
Chris Stapleton is not only an amazing singer. He's very humble as well. Glad to see you put him back on your channel. This man can sing the blues, country, and rock. He's also a songwriter as well.
😊oh man his voice gives warm feelings! - if you haven’t done his superbowl live performance of the national anthem- it’s the best rendition I have ever heard- it’s emotional like it should be
When it comes to Chris always always always watch live performances. He is one of those rare artists that are better live. He also has 2 live songs with Justin Timberlake that are amazing.
I adore that you are listening to this!!! You have absolutely 100% go threw his catalog this man is unbelievably talented. He sings to my soul for real
Hey Cliff, if u want to check out more Stapleton, here are a few I'd suggest... "I Was Wrong" live Austin City Limits; "Cold" live CMA Awards; "It's a Man's World" James Brown cover with the Shadowboxers live impromptu performance; "Nothing Compares to You" Prince tribute live; "Tennessee Whiskey & Drink You Away" live with Justin Timberlake at the CMA Awards; "Say Something" w/Justin Timberlake official video (one-take). Thank you, loved the reaction. And just wanted you to know that when it comes to Stapleton, go with live versions when possible-you won't be disappointed ;-) Sending love
Bro love your channel we need more people like you spreading positive messages and trying to help people you are a blessed man brother keep up the good work
Subbed for more Chris. Heard him live a few weeks ago and he sounds identical to his studio recordings if not better. His set was two hours straight. He never left the stage or took a song off. Amazing performer. Top flight song writer. My only regret was that Morgane wasn't with him that night. (One that never gets reviewed much but is one of my greatest guilty pleasures is Leslie Jordan's "Farther Along" featuring Chris and Morgane. Leslie wasn't a great singer but his joy and energy were unparalleled. Filmed during quarantine about a month before Leslie passed it is a great way to hear Morgane take the lead and Chris standing in the booth, hands in his pockets, peelin' paint and takin' it to church!)
Need to ck out the live version at CMA awards of Chris and Justin Timberlake song Tennessee wiskey/drink u away its fire and the band exceptional one of the best live.
I have a few handfuls of artists that give me chills the second they open their mouths!!! Chris is one of them!! Marc Broussard and David Grace are a few others! Marc and David do a cover of Georgia that's absolutely amazing! Definitely worth a reaction!
Very few people can make a song with so few lyrics so engaging. You need to hear him sing the National Anthem. Anytime he does a cover of a song, it's an instant classic. Check it out
Hey Cliff, this performance was down here in St. Louis! Chris was a ghost writer in Nashville for years, for the country music industry, credited with a handful of #1's and a couple dozen top 20 hits, until his wife talked him into releasing his own music in 2015. But he's said his biggest influences growing up were Blues and R&B singers like Etta James. That Heart "Stairway To Heaven" tribute to Zeppelin you did recently, well that's in my top 3 live performances, another in my top 3 is Chris Stapleton & Justin Timberlake, 2015 CMA awards, you would REALLY enjoy that one!! Great reaction as always!! ✌💚
This performance feels like being back in a blues bar in Atlanta. Soooo good. Thank you for reacting to a song I may not have found if you hadn't. Appreciate you!
Cliff, "The Devil is Gonna Watch you Burn" (it is about LV mass shooting at country music concert) I have only seen one reaction to it. I will be very grateful if eventually, you react to it. Thanks for this fantastic reaction to #SometimesiCry #ChrisStapleton
Thanks that was nice to listen to that song with you ''sort of'' i think that's the point to watch reaction it's to share the feelings we ad the first time we heard the song.... i was fishing my first one for this song 2 years ago my niece brought a playlist of that guy... man every fucking song was ''OMG wow''... since then it's been a lot on Stapleton... someone comment a list of sont for you... it's a very good one... ''i was wrong'' ''cold'' are very strong one... and i love all he did with Justin Timberlake... see ya
Check out his live version of Tennessee Whiskey and I was wrong on his Austin city limits concert. It’s awesome. He did “ cold “ live at the CMA awards. His live versions are always spot on.
If you react to more Chris Stapleton songs, you should check out him singing “Daddy Doesn’t Pray Anymore”! That one made me cry the first time I heard it
If you really want to hear his chops, react to the live acoustic version of “Barely Alive”. It’s an old video of him performing in a bar in Nashville from a cell phone, and you can hear the crowd (who are sitting at tables eating) just be stunned at how good it is.
Since you are a mental health advocate, Chris' song *Fire Away* ... the official video and then if you want to see what he does with it in a live performance I'd recommend the VevoDSCVR video with his wife. I don't think of him as 'country'. . .he's a mashup of blues, country, bluegrass, & rockabilly.
Check out his stuff from the Steeldrivers, too. And if you like this, check out Chris Knight. He is an amazing songwriter/singer that no one seems to know.
