unsatisfying ending. She makes bail on a murder charge? Her husband had means, motive, opportunity. Yet never comes under suspicion. And an unsatisfying ending. Don’t waste your time. Sloppy story.

This story is satisfying. I hate the stories where the 304 escapes accountability. The POS affair partner gets it and the cheating, skankaholic wife gets sent to prison. This is pure, wholesome family entertainment. Hallmark channel should make this into a movie

Well, I like the way this one ended but I also have to say I feel guilty for liking the way this one ended. I guess for me it's a case of there being no justice anywhere. Certainly the state has not achieved justice for the murder, but the state also regularly doesn't achieve justice in the case of infidelity. You would think if the state was going to insert itself in divorces it would do so for the purposes of achieving justice, but it regularly does exactly the opposite. Cheating wives regularly make out like bandits with cash and prizes while everything is taken from the men that have earned it. So, not a good ending. But I guess that's always the case where the state gets involved. I'm just not sure how far one should go to uphold the notions of justice when the state, which has the power to enforce its opinions, regularly does not as well.

What was believable...That Leslie was one of the lovers....The lover cared less about the old wife and had others.....The wife was going to leave the husband for her lover.....The husband was glad she went to jail......What was not believable....That a seasoned detective never suspected anything for 2 years.....The wife never thought it had to end somewhere down the line [he was around 30 and she was past 50]....The wife never thought she was being used for sex only.....The husband was not suspect # 1.

I disagree, a murder trial and then back to college days! What a disappointment!

The story was okay but there's a lot of holes in this one so Leslie dated the AP I don't know how I feel about that if I was Raleigh second she was lying to Raleigh for years because she knew that his wife was cheating or she could have just confronted the wife and told her to stop or just told Raleigh himself So I'm kind of split with this story because the wife did give him 25 good years, and then to get framed for murder I feel a little salty but as a cop where's your moral compass, and now his whole family has blown up I don't think it's worth it cuz at the end of the day all you have is your family.

another good story

Half way in, the question is why Raleigh himself is not a prime suspect. He also had access to the gun, and obviously had a good motive. Normally the husband is always a key suspect in these cases. Why did Sandy and everybody else did not think of this?

I don't like the ending, what it boils down is two corrupt cops, one a a murdering police woman, she was sexually involved with a man who had multiple APs, one of whom was also her police partners wife, whom she also loved, her partners wife was accused of murgering this AP shithead and was sent to prison, the police man found out that his wife was innocent of the murder, because his police partner told him she killed him, but that she did cheat on him for over two years, making him a laughing stock, so they both decided to leave his wife in prison and say nothing, so they could be lovers, Quite a fucked up story, A better ending would be, the policeman should have arrested his partner and turned her in, his wife is released from prison but he still wants nothing to do with her, other than seeing justice being done, and they both move on with their lives.

Life in prison for screwing around? Seems a little harsh.

"He didn't tell his colleague, even though they told each other about everything in their lives". This is another problem with men and women working close together: even when it's not (yet) physical, basically they're having an emotional affair, and it's very, very common in the workplace. It's really quite absurd and bizarre that people ignore this. But obviously, it's the same as with the enormous risks of outright adultery when we allow men and women to mix at work, but clearly also very much in school and college.

The ending may feel emotionally satisfying, but I have to say it just isn't right. The cheater shouldn't be punished for something she didn't do - only for what she did do.

I'm kind of split on this one. Rightfully, Leslie should have been punished but then she also knew how totally SCREWED UP our judicial system is and that Raleigh would get the shaft totally in divorce. Leslie gave Raleigh something that Sandy would not, unconditional love. When Leslie discovered Sandy's two year affair and tried to force McAllister to break it off, he refused and she capped his a$$! I don't think it was jealousy as much as she was trying to save her partner's marriage and save him from the pain of Sandy's betrayal.
