We muslims fast a whole month without breaking no eating or drinking anything. Not even water, we do that to know how other people who don’t have food feel and for religious reasons.But it’s not like we don’t eat for a month at all. Until sunset we don’t eat and then we break it it’s called iftar. Then we normally go to sleep and wake up at 4-5 AM for suhoor wich is a little before sunrise and we eat and drink till a certain time so we can last longer. From there until the other day at sunset we fast. I just started a really strict diet for some health reasons, and I’m the kind of the person that food is just my comfort. It’s been really hard, but I’m almost to the three week mark. But what’s been so hard, is no matter how much I eat, I’m never full. So I definitely feel what you went through, and honestly this video made me feel a little better.

We Muslims fast in the Holy month of Ramadan . During this month we eat 'suhur' (meal before sunrise ) . Then During the entire day we don't eat or drink anything, not even a single drop of water. In the evening we break the fast by eating 'iftar' (meal after sunset ). We have to do the same thing for 30 days straight. During Ramadan its not breakfast, lunch, dinner. Instead its suhur, iftar and dinner .
