When I was in high school in the early 70's the administration started to let us girls wear pants. Once a week in 9th grade eventually increased over time to everyday. I was from a family of 12 children and there was very little money for the latest fashions. I has been sewing since I was about 8 years old and sewed a lot of my clothes. I ran into a pattern very similar to this one on the video. I have been looking for years for this simple pattern. I loved it so much and was so simple I could make a pair in a single night and wear it in the morning. Nobody had pants like these and they were so comfortable, airy, and light to wear. Really nice video! One tiny thing for feedback though: if you're not going to use close up shots to show how the garment gets pinned, it would likely be easier for your viewers to see if you use a less busy pattern of fabric- a soft, solid colour or something like that would be much better.
