I lived in Austin in the middle d 90’s. 6th street was always the go to place on the weekend. For sure You’d find anything you wanted or needed there. The cops just left you alone unless you got stupid. Back then you didn’t walk down the street for fear of getting blasted by a car. It’s looking a bit crazier now.
