Known issues!!! Loading synths to kit rows occasionally freezes the deluge. We recommend you save regularly while building kits in this manner! Apparently synth kits has been a thing but didn't see it until this firmware, uses presets! I've recently taken the plunge and bought a Deluge to upgrade my setup from a Circuit Tracks as my main "brains". It is insane that you can do 26000 BPM. I think I chose well 🤣
what I'm constantly amazed about with the deluge, more than anything else, is how much of a chameleon it is, in terms of the sound engine not having a characteristic sound.... you know how if you made a kick using a mini or a monopoly, you'd be able to hear some mooginess or korgishness.... the deluge seems to refkect only the intent of its user. it's why I have two, & why a lot of my other gear is getting dusty.
For a while you’ve been able to use the synth engine for kit rows, but you had to create a drum synth from scratch for each one. Being able to load presets makes it much more practical!
When in Kit mode adding notes in rows which don't have samples seemingly adds samples to the kit (the audition pads of those rows light up making it appear as if new samples have been added) . These new samples are phantom. When changing a kit preset after notes have been added and going back to the same kit, the notes get moved and represent different samples within the kit. I assume this must be a bug? I'm on Amadeus 1.0.1. Thanks!
@RonCavagnaro What's the point of it? It does not add any sample to the kit and also scrambles entire clip as soon as you go in and out of that kit. To replicate it: open any kit. put notes in rows that have kit samples. now put notes in rows that DON'T have kit samples - this makes audition pads of those rows light up. Play the clip and try to memorize the melody / rhythm. Now go in and out of that kit (scroll to select different kit and then back). Now play the clip again - the melody / rhythm is different as ALL notes have shifted and the note/sample relations are different.
@@RonCavagnaro Must be a bug as adding just a single note accidentally in a row that does not have a kit sample scrambles ENTIRE composition. Very easy to do so and never notice until it is too late.
On this example it depends if I press affect all, if it's on then it will be the master reverb of the kit. If it's off then it's affecting the reverb on the single row selected
Yes noticed a little too late, not going to go over it again lol it happens from time to time I try my best, it was a very very minimal distortion thankfully
