Dumpling must be eaten with sour sauce (like soy sauce). It is plum sauce that be eaten with wrapped shrimp. Chinatown has many gold shops and they sell real gold. Gold ornaments are made from 96+% gold, gold bars are 99.75%. The 2nd restaurant is Thai/Chinese restaurant.

My Thai dish recommendations: 1. ผัดกระเพรา Pad krapao (stir-fried holy basils)(deep-fried pork (Moo krob) variant is my personal favorite) 2. ข้าวซอย Khao Soi (northern-style curry noodles) 3. ข้าวหมูกรอบ Khao Moo Krob (deep-fried pork) 4. มัสมั่น Massaman (curry) 5. ลูกวัวหัน Look Wua Han (grilled beef made from newborn cows) 6. หอยทอด Hoi Thod (muscle omelet) 7. ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเนื้อตุ๋น Kuaytiaw Nua Toon (beef noodles) 8. ลาบคั่ว Larb Kua (northern-style stir-fried minced beef) 9. ก๋วยเตี่ยวคั่วไก่ Kuaytiaw Kua Kai (stir-fried chicken noodles) 10. หมูกระทะ Moo Kata (Thai-style grilled meat and sukiyaki) Have fun in Thailand.

I like it when Anthony said “You’re never going hungry in Thailand “ and the fact that we are having food everywhere and they are cheaper than you cook your own meals at home 😊 Yes definitely don’t eat anything before you go out! My husband was so surprised every time we visited Thailand and seeing my family and friends eating food all day long 😅 Early morning,late morning, morning snacks, lunch, sweet after lunch, afternoon snacks/tea/coffee, dinner, late night food 😂

We’re glad to hear our experience was a great deal. The Tuk Tuk Driver was very nice and didn’t seem like a scammer which we really appreciated. 😂😂😂. Honestly, we don’t care what we eat for breakfast as long as it’s good 😁.

In the iconSiam 7floor besides Starbucks There is city viewpoint from the balcony, no glass block 6floor luxury Theater and very good environment restaurant

You should come back and watch the water fountain show at iconsiam at night. Also iconsiam has more luxury fashion brands when compared to the Emsphere. It also has takashimaya , a Japanese department store so there’s a lot of Japanese food at iconsiam as well. If you go up to the 6 floor ( if I remember correctly) you will more restaurants.

Hua Seng Hong restaurant serves delicious Fish Maw Soup, the sukumvit 101 branch near my house accepts credit card tho. Have you ever tried “Here Hai (Brother Hai)Crab fried rice” in Ekamai ?? It got Michelin bib 2020.

The reason why some restaurant didnt accept credit card is they gonna have to pay 3-5% to each of credit card's comp. Also liquidity or cash flow expecially those who're runninng their business without backup financial supplyment. For scan payment customer can reclaim they cash if they just insult company as if they got rob or it was just a mistake or misplace their number, etc. So they use the most basic way of trading which is cash nowadays.

Honestly, it’s not a huge inconvenience even if they don’t accept credit cards. Totally understand why restaurants don’t accept credit cards. The fees are a lot when added up. Makes sense! Thank you for sharing 😃❤️🫰🙏!

The official fairy pier to Icon is beside the Sheraton hotel cost @6 baht , but the one you take from hotel is free for the hotel guest

Come to Chinatown again in the evening. It's the longest street food in the world and it's totally different. And Songwat road that you guys took a tuktuk is the new popular area among teenagers. There are alot of hidden river view cafes and small art galleries. I thought 100 Baht tuktuk will took you across the river to Iconsiam 😢because the distance between tuktuk to that hotel we just walk 5 mins. My recommendation is on Tuesday to Friday. Start from River City Bangkok (see art pieces and gallery on second floor) --> Mother roaster--> Hong Sieng Kong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ --> play art house (small art gallery) --> Arteasia Desserts & Cafe --> FV (Thai fusion dessert) -->a)pink rabbit + Bob /ทรงวาด (must try Lontan meringue cake) --> walk to Sampheng market, spends 2-3 hours (close around 5 p.m.) --> walk to Chinatown food street (6 p.m. - after midnight) Chinatown food street closes on Monday, but weekend too crowded. 😊😊

I just saw your new video that you guys already went to Sampheng Market.😅 I have other places for you. - Holy Rosary Church , beautiful church near river city bagkok - Wat Mongkorn kamalawat, the most well-known Chinese temple ( near MRT wat mongkorn station) - Wat traimit , golden buddha and museum (at the beginning of Chinatown road) -Kuan Yim Shrine, Thian Fah (opposite wat traimit)

The chilli sauce for Dim-Sum. Not only they put chilli with vinegar freshly, but it is marinated for some days. That's why it has stronger taste than sour soy sauce.

Icon Siam has dancing fountain show every evening in front. And if you want better view than Apple's balcony, you must go to the highest floor... the balcony there has the best view and the balcony itself looks very nice in the late evening with the decorating lights.

Me watching this video first thing after I woke up before my breakfast this morning 😅 Chinatown in Bangkok will be 4-5 times busier at night. Like other markets in Thailand the evening and night market is a big deal for us 😊 I will definitely visit Chinatown in Bangkok next visit this Summer!

The food court at Icon Siam look nice to see but the taste is not good and expensive. The Siam Paragon is the best. Try to select the restaurant that has a lot of local people not the foreigners.

Hi Anthony and Caroline! There would be no way you could open a restaurant like Lhong Tou in the United States. Could you imagine the lawsuits from people breaking their legs falling from the higher tables? No insurance company would insure a restaurant like that and if they did, the premiums would be outrageous! It wouldn't last one a week in the US.

@@ChovyTravel I recommend you to try the one that not too ripe, it should still very firm on the outside, it's less sweet but it's also less smelly. Typically Thais love montong durians but lately they're a new variety call Lava durians 🤣🤣 which real expensive and really hard to find (some said you need to make a reservation for it a year in advance)

You can use Visa card directly, no need to change the coin for MRT. You can see the VISA sign at the station.

คุณมาถูกร้านแล้ว ร้าน "ฮั่วเซ่งฮง" เยาวราช เป็นสาขา original ที่อร่อยที่สุด เป็นสาขาที่ conservative ไม่รับบัตรเครดิต ไม่รับการสแกนจ่าย แม้ว่ามีหลายสาขาในกรุงเทพ แต่สาขาอื่นก็รับบัตรเครดิตนะ ผมแนะนำ เป็ดย่าง ,ปลาหิมะนึ่งซีอิ๊ว ,หอยนางรมทอด(ออส่วน) อร่อยมากๆ 😊😊😊

Very Nice! Of Course! Honestly, we only really traveled within Bangkok and there’s a plethora of things to do, see, and eat! Unfortunately, we haven’t been to Phuket so we’re no help there 😟. Is this your first time!? How long are you staying in Bangkok and what do you like/want to do? What did you pick up from our videos you might be interested in doing/trying/visiting? @@leona9315It was very interesting because we didn’t expect to see so much in Chinatown. Since there were so many, it was confusing us. We would think we came to this area already but it was another gold shop. Where we come from, there aren’t gold shops in such a close proximity to each other. With that being said, it does shock us/seems strange. Sorry for the confusion and we hope this clarifies things 😅.

Just so you know...any foreign car imported directly from the country of origin will have a 300% import tax imposed on it! Any foreign automobile brand assembled in Thailand is exempt from the 300% duty. Foreign cars such as Honda and Toyotas are assembled in Thailand. Supercar brands such as Lamborghini and Ferrari cost about $1 million in Thailand after the import tax!

I can't recommemd anything in IconSiam because i have never eat it all, I mean I only try it just 20% of all 😂 then everytime i was there like a lucky draw. Eat whatever that look good. 😬 And yes, The price of food in Iconsiam quite expensive than other, but they provide traditional unique Thai dish, some of dish only find there. (Or find in thier original province) So my recommendation is Don't eat anything you find in other market, just try the one you've never seen before 🤭
