I think it also forces the audiences on how we value a recording artist/singer… Is it based on the amount of hit singles they had within their careers or recording artist/singer That has the pure talent to manage to hold notes on stage.

I agree with everything you said in this video completely. Some people have no respect for the craft; most of these mainstream singers don’t sound the same in person like they do on the radio/Albums. Some of their background singers will sang circles around them. Omarion‘s mainstream a group B2K/playing in movies while Mario started off as a background singer not many people know that. Omarion was talking a lot of trash before the versus battle he was the one who actually asked Mario to come on for versus. Mario didn’t want to do it in the beginning. However Omarion kept poking the bear. It's the stuff that happens behind the scenes that we don’t see. I love both of them. Both of them have a wonderful catalog, however sometimes you better be careful what you ask for because you might get SERVED in Omarion‘s case. All everyone saw in this versus battle is Mario‘s reaction you didn’t see what caused the reaction.

I been a Mario fan since Just a friend! He has always been one of my favorite singers. His voice is amazing! I love all those artist that participated in this, but without their synthesizers, they cant do it. Granted, you must take into account, people's vocals change over time due to illness ( Jeremiah was on a vent from covid remember), drugs, alcohol, not practicing. You just cant beat real talent. I have been to many concerts and heard many r&b legends sing, some sucked, some killed it

This is why I say that R&B declined, with the emergence of auto tune. How do we live in a world, where Future, Drake, Young Thug and all these types of artists have hits for days. Yet singers like Avant, Bobby V, Mario, Ginuwine, Joe and so many others have been left in the dust? Their singer ability is still on point, they still make good, pure R&B music. Clearly there's still an audience for it, because Chris Brown still delivers top tier R&B music and it sells. Where is the disconnect?

My view - Mario is clearly and methodically taking care of his gift, which should be a lesson to everyone with incredible talents and gifts. He even got better in his range overtime, so it was a walk in the park for him. It is important to ensure these gifts are well-maintained, or else, these gifts and talents will age and breakdown overtime, especially if your lifestyle is recklessly toxic and includes heavy drug/alcohol/substance ABUSE. All that partying! Just remember that these gifts/talents do come from God, so it's important that we take care of them, as He made us guardians of them. Last point - I don't know what REALLY the issue is with B2K, but it is sad to see so much immaturity, treachery, and deceit. Listening to this battle made me play B2K songs in heavy rotation, which was so nostalgic, just so many memories, that me realize just how much these guys were part of my childhood. Thinking on those memories gave me happy feelings and made me realize how much time has passed. Shoot - I remember jamming to B2K while playing video games, especially Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2...lol!🤣 Take it further, I remember their "Boys 4 Life" track, but I guess they're no longer tight? It's just tragic how a friendship can fracture like that. It's just pure hostility and petty shots now~so sad...Not the boys (yes, I know they're men now) I remember, so was it just a front...😔

I’m shocked that anybody that Ray J could sing. I have always hated that one wish song. I remember changing the channel every time the video would come on 106 and Park. He sounds like a wounded cat. I’ve never been a fan of B2K, so I never paid attention to AP’s vocals.
