They both look nooby and since his friend is at low hp and venomed it looks like an easy kill. The friend has a skull so they think they actually were ice barraging them and hit them back which skulls them.

Or bring gear you're willing to lose but that's good enough to fight back. A little sneaky veng and a ballista spec can fuck up a pker. The right barrage can allow you to get gap on a small team and log out.
I think you would have more success if you were unskulled. Charged the trident and wear the amulet of avarice which would give you a skull making it look like you 100% attacked them.
PvMers, turn off player attack and just dont fight back if you dont want to risk your items. I've never heard of this skull trick its actually 200 iq, I could definitely fall for it

While I agree that these videos are entertaining, dont you think that Jagex should implement updates to counter this? Otherwise people may just avoid wildy/PVP worlds due to skull tricks and PVP World may be a little dead as ppl scared
Lmfao... No one is making them fall for it. They don't have to choose to attack people when they bring a +1, +3, etc in the wildy. If they cant properly assess a pvp encounter then maybe they should avoid risk. No one is forcing their hand to fight back in a 1v2.

As someone with various near-maxed 42def, 70def accs etc., if I'm bringing prime +3 or +4 gear for PvM like Venantis etc., every single time I get attacked I have to sit there and tank until I run out/tele or die without even trying to attack back. The logical move is not even to "play," and frankly for a PvP game mode that's really really really shitty. Jagex should have at least a left click attack option for players that won't cause them to skull, or at least if they're using a 1v1 type attack. I'd bring anti-PKer gear but honestly it's 100% not worth the risk of a skull trick. Instead I just occasionally lose something dumb like ~250k bandos chaps + ~300k worth of ether + 100-200k in various supplies if I'm sub-70 or 70def and don't get the InstaTele whilst Wildy bossing/PvM. What kind of gamesmanship is that type of garbage? When I PvP myself, most don't seem to ever fight back, likely for similar reasons.
