I discovered a hidden Thieving method on Entrana - MonkManMode (#3) 

Hey everyone - I've just reuploaded this video to *hopefully* address the audio desync issues from the first video. Happy scaping :)

Considering wiping, in my opinion you should be able to choose one item to keep after you've unlocked protect item, it's a prayer and you're a monk.

So since rune mysteries is on your list becouse it's needed for ardy cloak, immediately after doing it complete priest in peril. Wolfbane gives +5 prayer bonus, as much as a dragon mace, and almost the whole quest is in a safe zone.

Your chat box overlay is super confusing. Half the time I think you've messed up talking to an NPC because nothing shows up.

That cave monk part cracked me up. Pure gold.

On the topic of the death mechanic: Caveman here is roleplaying as a monk, a monk that does not live in a monastery, but is nevertheless bound by his prayers. He is a rogue monk. A monk generally does not have possessions, but Monkman does, because he does not fully follow the rules for the way of life of the monk community. If this monk loses his connection to the gods, i.e. he runs out of prayer points, he gets caught by the community and he is reminded of the rules he should follow. This means that all of his possessions are taken from him and he is left emptyhanded at the monastery. The monks can take possessions, but they can not take the acquired knowledge and skills. Thought this was a fun interpretation on why the mechanics work the way they do. Only thing I would add on to your current mechanic is that you would perform the full wipe at the Edgeville monastery (after 31 prayer) from where you can continue your journey (and go rogue again). Really enjoying this idea for a series Caveman :-)

This whole "wipe if I leave a chunk when not praying" seems arbitrary to me. Isn't the point of the prayer simply supposed to be a timer to show how long you can stay outside of chunks? Who cares if you leave a chunk if you are only gone for a short time and your prayer would've lasted long enough anyway, had they been on.

just..... just spend an hour and get 31 prayer and get monk robes....

Awesome content as always! I love the interaction and time you spend w/ the people watching your streams. On the topic of wiping, I think you should only hardcore wipe like that if you're inside of a danger zone with no Prayer Points. You definitely had the Prayer to spare, you just didn't activate it on accident. I think you should have let that one slide, but I understand you want to keep the integrity of the account.

even though these videos are 45+ minute long time goes too fast, this is the most excited i've been for a series since swampletics started.

You will probably have already done it by the time you see this, but to reach to combat training camp, you don't need to run out the entrance north of East Ardy - there's a gap in the fence and the wall of West Ardy right by the edge of a safezone, it'll save you some prayer points. It isn't showing very well due to the grid lines.

Repeating the same comment from previous upload: Demonic Ruins in wilderness regenerates prayer, should/could be safe zone. You conveniently said at 44:46 "I run out of prayer" while your cursor is chilling at the very place where your prayer regenerates.

Doesnt really make sense to punish yourself so harshly for walking briefly into the danger zone without pray assuming you immediately get out and could then go recharge at an altar tbh

Am I the only one who thinks that all of Entrana should be a safe zone? The whole island is full of monks and it is a holy island...

Shouldn't the demonic ruins in wilderness be safe chunk? As the area restores your prayer. Dont know if its any other help than new safe chunk but its something.

Yes you would lose prayer points quickly, but the Jangerberries could effectively "store" your prayer points. pick a few up restore prayer repeat, get an inventory of berries, then you've effectively increased the length you can stay out for one trip, just eat as you run.

Make chatbox always visible, its weird like this not being able to see it half the time

Can't wait for the next one. I feel like mid level content will be the best. Teleports would be HUGE - You can tele to dangerous areas and run to safe ones, or tele out of dangerous areas instantly instead of in 10 seconds. Varrock rune shop?

The chronicle even as a panic tele, if you're going to reset anyway, its essentially a 3/4 free revive. If you're gunna die anyway, might as well roll the dice on trying not to die lol.

Don't know if it's possible, but would be cool if you put the stream chat somewhere. It's kinda strange seeing you talking to the chat and not being able to see it.

What if you did a 5 seconds before the “darkness” consumes you type of thing. So like in the event that crappy pathing walks you into the gray area you have 5 seconds to activate prayer before the darkness consumes you and you have to wipe everything?

I think you should only wipe your acc if you lose all your prayer. No rseason to do it over an accident

that cronicle teleport seems like a 1/4 chance to teleport you into the cause its a total of 32 tiles 8 being deadly

What about dropping everything in inventory. Whatever worn items you have you keep. Right now it won’t be too bad but then later on before you run into the danger zones you will have to strategize what items you would prefer to keep and which you are willing to lose

Losing everything because of accidentally stepping into a zone that you could have definitely lasted in if your prayer was on feels so shitty. I think this ruleset and mode are really dissatisfying.

Hey cave guy go to varrock castle and kill the mage of zamorak in there he drops robe top and bottom they both give prayer bonus as well as magic bonus! its pretty easy just have to mage him then telegrab :P :D

The whole island of enchra should be unlocked as its a holy island also I'm not sure if it's an Rs3 thing but I'm pretty sure falador castle does have an alter it just in a hard to reach spot I'm not sure if it's there hasn't been in the castle for some time. But I remember seeing it years ago before the two games split.

I think (for the viewers sake) you should have a separate rule for pating bugs, since OSRS is such an old game engine stuff like that is going to happen alot, and dropping everything every time the engine does something funky (even if you COULD have forseen it) is just going to get tedious. And in terms of integrity, we're all used to a little bit of fudging from you haha

Still want to follow this series as its an amazing idea but the current longform format isn't working. Not enough gains are made to warrant a 45min vid. Easily could be cut to 20mins if not 15. When you realise people on RU-vid don't want to watch stream reposts, I'm sure you'll get some big numbers from this series

This was such a boring episode. It's a pretty boring series honestly. I like the idea, but you're uploading 45 minutes of you just talking about what you're going to do, with making very little progress

The chat overlay is confusing and it gets a little boring just watching a twitch vod. I think it would be a better viewing experience if you cut to more of highlight kind of clips rather than for example interacting with chat

great idea for a series but wow, pretty horrible videos. The reason to watch live is the excitement and interaction, and the reason to watch videos is for the quality and compaction. This is the worst of both worlds.

This is a pretty boring series. These Snowflake accounts are getting played out. The more unique ones like Pirate UIM, & 2007scape only HCIM are way more interesting. The 45 minute uploads are just EH, we can't see the chat. It's just you talking to your self, and it's just weird.

The wiping is super unfun and a major buzzkill, just wanna see more episodes not a rebuild every episode kinda lame oh well

The concept is lame and game play is 90% rambling. Get good XD
