Glad to see there’s someone just like me, and regular folk for that matter, who’s making it big on this platform just from being genuine, candid, creative, passionate, and heartfelt. Big props to you! And as someone who’s struggled with a lot of existential and professional dread myself (am also 22) i think youre underestimating yourself when you say you dont know what youre doing. I mean, maybe it feels like you don’t, but from everything I can see, youve been engineering your success. You figured out what people want to watch, got the RU-vid algorithm to back you, have a few close friends, and now youre putting your earnings back into your craft, as well as using them to improve your quality of life. And your values of wanting to make the world a better place cant be understated. It may feel like the bare minimum to you, but it’s not a commonplace quality. It noticeably sets you apart in a very good way, and I’m sure its a large part of what has attracted such a big audience to you. My advice is to stay grateful, keep loving yourself and those around you, and trust in what you’ve been able to do. You’ve done great so far - just keep going and see where it takes you! Congratulations on your new Studio! I'm 17 and going to my dreams college in June (not confirmed yet but probably) and I really can't be more happy! I feel like I'm finally growing up and that's definitely not what I expected but I still enjoying every moment. I'm getting more and more responsibilities and am very excited for the next step. I love your videos. I am entering my sixth decade on Earth and now have a very, very well paying job and am seen as an expert BUT I will share that I no idea what I wanted to do until I was in my thirties. I lived in basement flats, bought clothes in thrift stores and like you, learned to cook healthy and cheap. I followed a very simple rule for myself: If it pays the bills AND is mostly fun with people I like each day AND doesn't harm the planet, animals or people AND allows me to learn, then that's what I'll do. In the end all the weird and wonderful things I did earlier somehow came together. So, in a nutshell: Do what you brings you fulfillment, work with people you like, try to learn something new often, stick to your priniciples. I know it's a cliche, but stay humble, believe in yourself, never do something for prestige and be willing to take chances. Shout out also to your supportive family. Best wishes from Canada!

Wait, are we literally the same age? What a pleasant surprise :D I find it funny how we both had this train of thought at the age of 22 which is in my opinion the most embarrassing life phase of all. Are you supposed to stay in school and obtain your master's degree? Should you settle with someone and have a full-time job and kids? Should you still party hard and enjoy your twenties? I mean this is the age when all of the above seems to be age-appropriate but at the same time none of them, if that makes sense. :D I had the very same assumption as you not so long ago when I started my first part-time corporate job. Adults I used to look up to back in my teenage years are literally just trying to figure out what the actual f*ck is going on in their lives. The older you get, the better you get at pretending that you have things under control, but that is aaaaalways just the surface, deep down everyone is panicking. :D

Don't compare yourself to others.. comparison is the thief of joy, it's not always about the grind, you're allowed to enjoy the simple things in life... like your cooking. Make your goal to be at peace... happiness is a temporary state of mind so don't make it your permanent goal. I'm 24 now and have never felt so sure about my purpose but that may be due to my advances in religious understanding but I'm sure you're going to find your reason. I feel like the most important thing is life is love... love for one another, through that we are able to do what we are passionate about, be kind to one another... give back to our loved ones. So many other countless things. You're doing amazing, just never become hopeless :) you've got this. Thanks for your amazing content!

I'm 19 and a second year into a college of engineering. Literally the advice I get most often from professors and seniors alike is " Don't worry about not knowing whats going on. First thing about engineering is admitting you don't immediately know the answer to a problem. If there was an easy solution, engineering wouldn't be a thing.". Heck. I've even been told that I won't even know what my life will look like until i get a job in the field going. You're doing awesome man

Yes and yes! I’m not sure what I am doing either. I am 27. Five or six years ago I thought I had life all figured out and knew exactly what my purpose was. But I forgot to think about what made me happy, and what made me come alive and whether my said purpose was tied to that. You’re doing great! Hey man I love your videos and congrats on the big moves you're making for yourself. I disagree though with your very cynical world view about the powerful CEOs oppressing the powerless etc. I will say that you're right about people not understanding what's going on and personally as I grow up and get closer to these people making big boy decisions I realize more and more that they're just trying their best and that they do what they do with good intentions. Bad stuff happens usually out of mistakes rather than malice, there are no solutions only tradeoffs, and its hard to get things right. Anyways keep up the good stuff!

I don't really know what else to say but that I really love your videos. You just have such a genuine, down to earth personality that makes you really easy to connect to. I feel your passion and love for your craft, and the fun you have doing it. Plus, your food looks great! You may not feel like you know what you're doing, but you're doing a great job. Honestly, I don’t think you need to know what you’re doing… ever, in life. Like you said, as long as you’re happy and passionate about it, then it’s the right thing for you.

I'm almost 40 and have 5 kids. Sometimes I forget how old I really am. Wing it. My dad is a responsible 79 year old kid at heart. Don't let the heavy world keep you down. Try to be light. Let go of what we perceive as other's expectations that are actually our own negative hard on us self-talk. Be authentic and people who matter will recognize that and appreciate it. Fake people live for others, live for yourself. No one really knows what they're doing. As soon as you master one aspect of life, a new learning curve will come. Life never seems to just be, it is in constant flux. Remember everyone has strengths we can't be like everyone and we can't be liked by everyone and that is normal and OK. I also suspect you might be an INFJ. Finding out who you are helps lay a good foundation for growth. I know it helped me to know my MBTI.

I share this mindset. Funnily enough, I had similar thoughts about myself and the world when I was your age. Never had a studio though, congratulations! Looks really nice

I would say that most people don't know what they're doing with their life. You're young and if you're enjoying what you're doing, keep at it until you can no longer do it or you're no longer enjoying it. I think you're doing a great job with creating content. I feel you. I moved out half a year ago. I'm 22. I moved into another "bundesland" to be with my boyfriend. My family is 2hours away from me. Yeah that may doesn't sound much. But it kinda is. Everything is so Confusing.. So new.. I have trouble making new friends cause i never really had some and now i often feel lonely and a little bit Overwhelmed. Dude. I have 30 years old since 1 month ago. And I don't even know either what to do with my life. I thought I could be a great developer, I studied like 4 years for it and worked 2. Mental health issues kicked in and 3 years passed after being kicked out of there. And right now, 1 month ago, I got a job as a Interviewer to do social studies and stadistics for a public organization of my country. Don't be scared of not knowing what is gonna happen, try your best, keep on living, surviving and try to keep your life at your basics and enjoy the best you can sometimes is what you need to do and not overthink more than that. Take care man, thanks for teaching me how to properly cook from the basics to not so basics. Stay safe and enjoy what life has to offer for you!

What you are experiencing is totally normal, you have your book and RU-vid as a plattform you use for sharing content. The things you are describing can be summed up with a question: Am I making an impact? To the world? To the individuals, that are watching my videos? And the answer is as far as I can tell: Yes. I stumbled across your videos because I watch other content creators who cook in their videos. What I think is remarkable about your videos is that it makes it easy to start cooking and living a bit more healthy. It is easy to follow the steps and therefore it is not overwhelming. You do good for everyone who is faced with a difficult financial situation and/or not have cooking experience, especially students to get started with doing something good for themselfs by taking care of their own nourishment. You do good, trust me, trust the process and most of all trust in yourself😊 Keep up the good work, I am looking forward to it😊😊
