Before the United States sends out one more dollar to other countries, We MUST first take care of the Citizens of the United States 🇺🇸 It should be done immediately. We need to take care of our own FIRST!!! 🙏
Pinball Prepardness is doing a lot in TN and the Carolinas. He shows contributions and receipts of purchases. A great group of RU-vidrs and volunteers all working together to get stuff out to people.
I helped moderate pinballs page. And Pantera with appalachia's homestead also teamed up and they had about 50 some people with trucks and trailers and took lots of things to Newport yesterday. They were taking more to Greenville today but then they've got to wait for the funds to come in from the fundraiser because they used their own money while they wait for the processing to go through
Pinball and Patara are both very trustworthy. Please consider donating, and rest assured your donation will reach the storm victims. @Pinball Preparedness @Appalachia's Homestead with Patara
we are obviously ON OUR OWN when disaster strikes ... pool together folks. even big choppers trying to help are being turned away by the local 'officials' .... what a bunch of BS
@@kimcissell1905Yep! Americans were worth $700 for the Hawaii catastrophe...yet, how much has been given freely to other countries with this current administration?...Now with what's happening on the East Coast, I most definitely know who stands more for the United States of America, and where my vote is going next month!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Danno, Most Americans don’t realize it but FEMA’s key mission is not disaster relief to the general public. Rather, their highest priority mission is asserting continuity of government.
Pinball preparedness youtuber accepts checks, make sure you put "Cash" and not "Pinball" on it. He made over a $30,000 purchase of supplies and physically made the trip there with volunteers to help those in need. Great 👍 guy. If he gets more funds, he will purchase more supplies.
Please continue praying for Floridians. We are the forgotten victims of the Hurricane 🌀🌀 Helene unnatural event, weather warfare is a bitch and insurance companies are worse.
I've heard the 82nd Airborne division of our US Military is STATIONED in NC - they go help people during natural disasters in other countries but they have not yet been activated to help their neighbors 😢😢😢😢
RU-vidr Pinball Preparedness initiated a collection for East Tennessee. Patara (Appalachia's Homestead) joined him yesterday to deliver several trucks full of supplies. They are prepping to deliver more supplies in the next week. They have collected about $150K as of this posting. Grindstone Ministries (Bear Independent) does a lot of hands-on work. Ryan Hall Y'all weather you tube channel does immediate disaster relief. Samaritan's Purse (Franklin Graham of Boone, NC) is helping out in the Asheville, NC area.
Ryan Hall, a youtuber, had donated to those who were affected by Helene. I think he's raised at least $40000 for that as of Sunday. He has a charity thing set up.
Ashville and all the smaller areas are needy! It seems like the smaller areas are not getting looked at as much! A lot of people are hurting!!!!! God knows!!!!!
Pinball Preparedness and Patara of Appalachia's Homestead are doing a lot for Tennessee. I've heard that the Samaritan's Purse is helping out North Carolina. Stay away fron the Red Cross. Ryan Hall and the Y'all Squad have been flying Starlinks to help folks to contact loved ones. Churches are good to donate to as donations to churches can't be redirected by the government. There is a team of nine mules traveling into the harder places to get into. Many folks are using their own planes or copters to get supplies to the folks stuck on the tops of mountains. Pretty sad when the government is slow to get involved in such devastation!
Those two are good people and can be trusted. They have raised over $150,000.00 so far just from their RU-vid communities. There is information on Pinball Preparedness channel and on Appalachias Homestead with Patara.
Any disaster in any town. We are all on our own.Our government does not care if they did. They would have been in East Palestine ohio, and they'd be helping these people now
HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayer.help all the people that are in harms way from this horrible storm.keep all the good volunteers and first responders safe and in your loving hands.we ask this in the name of you Son Jesus christ. Amen
Samaritan's Purse. They are there and in Georgia. They are based in the Ashville area. Ryan Hall Y'all Squad in eastern Kentucky. He has already sent several teucks down with supplies. Mennonite Relief , Cajun Navy. Dont expect or depend on the government. They want the land.
This is so heartbreaking I cannot fathom what our fellow brothers and sisters are going through I’m going to pray without ceasing for them all 🙏😢 I’m going to make darn sure where I donate will go directly to the people
I was reading about the linemen who are getting back into the remote areas before the first responders and they are finding finding so many bodies. 😞This is not something that these linemen are psychology and emotionally to deal with all this. It all brings back bad memories for Katrina.
They can not unsee what they have seen. I have done search and rescue(not anymore because of the nightmares I have from it). It's very hard on a person, even if trained to handle those types of situations. It's very depressing, shocking, and you feel helpless. My heart breaks for them all💔. They will be going through some me tally tough times.
My husband is a bucket operator for a nation wide tree company and has gone on many storms within the east coast and now Arkansas. My heart breaks for the thousands involved that live in these areas and the thousands there to help what they are witnessing.
Consider GRINDSTONE MINISTRIES, LOCAL PET SHELTERS LOCATED THERE OR FUND A NORTHERN RESCUE TO TAKE DOGS UP NORTH. Skip the national and international organizations, allegedly less than 10% of $$$ gets to victims. Overhead, admin, ceo salaries.
I don’t comment much on your channel, as busy with work and family. I felt that I needed to comment the day that you were deciding to stay or go. So glad you did. The storm chasing community have been there doing all they can to help. Ryan Hall has done allot through his non profit. Prayers for all that have been affected in all states.
My son, who works for the U.S. Forest Service much of the year, says there are many places where they cannot even get through to people with their heavy equipment or trucks because of the hilly terrain of mud. So sad.
Joe Biden stated that the American people would have to help one another because they have given all the funds they have for this tragedy. Basically, they just gave a few billion to Ukraine and we have nothing left, same thing with the national guard, except for the small numbers that are being sent by a few governors. We are on our own.
@@remylabeau7716 All of Upstate SC got destroyed -- Greenville County, Pickens County, Anderson County, Oconee County, Spartanburg County ... Many still do not have power back. Utility companies are literally having to rebuild their entire systems. At least one water district ran out of water due to a lack of power at its intake system. That said, the Upstate escaped the worst of the flooding. Yes, roads were a hot mess, with several flooded at the beginning. But the Upstate got 10-12 inches of rain vs the 24+ inches NC saw.
@@74jdvickery Thank you! I can't imagine everything all the affected areas have been dealing with. I know there's been some really horrific things the search teams have been finding. Bear independent has mentioned a few things his Grindstone teams have been finding. It breaks my heart. I knew Upper SC got hit bad but wasn't sure how bad things were and like I mentioned no one's really talked about it. That puts it into a better perspective for me.
@@remylabeau7716 Costco trucks cannot travel from Atlanta to Charleston, SC due to the damage in the upstate so Charleston Costcos are empty - not complaining, we're very fortunate we only had a half dozen tornadoes here due to Helene - just sharing an example of how significant the damage still is a week after the storm even in areas that were "mildly" affected 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Last Saturday, one day after Helene hit, the TN National Guard had over 700 soldiers deployed to the Middle East for Security duty...for a one year deployment!!! They were needed here, those soldiers and equipment could've made a massive difference in many lives! Biden sent $17 Billion last week to Ukraine, Taiwan and another place, I can't remember. His attitude, that he gave "all he could without even being asked" is beyond sickening! I saw a post, yesterday (Tuesday) at 5 p.m., people still stranded, running out of food and wondering if anyone was coming to help?! Folks, we are on our own!!!! God help us.
It's so disgusting. I really hope and pray that the people suffering from this tragedy know that it's not us people that aren't helping but it's the government and authorities that are the ones that won't help them. I'm so disgusted.
I’m in Canada and I have been donating to people working on the ground. As for helicopter search and rescue, foreign aircraft cannot work in the USA unless specially requested by the USA/FAA. The local governments are in charge of the operations.
Ashville is gone, we go to Cherokee a lot. My husband rode the Dragon Tail on his motorcycle, it's gone. We go to Smokey Mountains at minimum once a year since I was 5 I'm almost 60. All the roads are gone, I'm physically ill at the devastation in this region 😢
I have a Jeep friend still missing in Tennessee. The families are being told people are reporting family members are safe, when they are not, and searches are called off. It's so sad!!! They found his Jeep a mess and destroyed, his dog was swimming, but they can't find him.
Our prayers to all the victims of this horrific storm. WHERE IS FEMA. WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN PEOPLE BEFORE OTHER COUNTRIES. God bless America!!!
Majorca’s just said that FEMA doesn’t have enough money for the rest of the hurricane season. But we can send billions of dollars to the Ukraine people. 😡
Yeah, but they and him keep allowing more illegals in. Help for them with everything, and they aren't citizens. While OUR CITIZENS have suffered unimaginable tragedy and need help, rescues, food, and the very basics of necessity. Our government has their priorities F'd up. Our pres on the beach and the dingbat vp, nowhere on the ground in the destroyed communities. Crickets. Remember that when voting in November. Who was there to help. Remember the total devastation in Hawaii. Never forget.
There is no excuse whatsoever that this government is not helping our suffering Americans in this horrible disaster in regards to this hurricane . We need to realize that this administration is not here for us. They can do something if they wanted to. They can also do something about this strike as well. Just remember this when you vote. Their actions have caused so much misery for the American people. It’s a shame that it takes our own citizens to come together and get the help that’s desperately needed. My heart is broken for these families and all who have lost everything. My heart also is shattered of what is happening in Our country. God help us I pray.😢❤
Samaritans purse is there. Logistics of reaching areas that have no road is a nightmare. I have family there. People are helping. Starllink has set up WiFi to the area.
I’m from Atlantic Canada. I continue to pray for all who have been affected by this horrendous disaster. Also praying for search and rescue, linesmen, volunteers and anyone involved in helping.
I volunteered with Samaritans Purse during the aftermath of a tornado and also Red Cross at shelter after Hurricane Irma when people evacuated up here to our shelters and I cannot tell you the feeling of talking to people that have lost everything and walking through a devastated area and finding peoples belongings. It makes you realize that you have no problems at all. If you can volunteer, do it or donate. It will make your heart feel good
I am currently reading the book about Kent Brantley, the dr. that was with Samaritan's purse ministry at the time who got eb...la. I have done red cross in the past for blood drive collection.
Donate to Pinball Preparedness, he has already delivered 100k of supplies personally to Newport Tn and the surrounding areas. He says they are desperate for water. he also took a semi of water and it was gone in a day.
Disasters like this will challenge your faith. However, it will be your faith that will see you through these challenges. Pray often and be sure to hug your family and friends. Now, having said that... Hurricane Michael hit in Florida as a Category 5....that was 2018. Six years ago and we still haven't finished repairing/replacing our damaged infrastructure structure. First came the thieves and gangs. Later, the carpetbaggers and land swindlers. The insurance companies are worse than Cartels. The size of catastrophic damage that took place will take a decade at a minimum. However, keep your family and friends close and pray often. Take pleasure in your minor successes. FEMA and your State National Guard will be overwhelmed. Organize your block, your community, and work with your town resources. Most of all be kind to yourself and the people you interact with. Remember to establish neighborhood/roving watch. Don't be afraid to block off the street at night but make sure you work with your local law enforcement. I'm sure I'm going to get hit on that last one but it comes from experience. And lastly, prepare for another disaster now.
I thought that people wanted to disassemble the alphabet agencies? I must say that there are a lot of RU-vidrs (viewers and creators) that are being a massive help ❤ Time for good neighbors and churches to fulfill their roles.❤
It’s not about the satellite. Mobile signal connects to stations, not from your phone directly to the satellites. That’s why during long term power cut you won’t get signals. Unless you have a ham radio. Landline relays on the cables.
I fear for waterborne diseases that may follow. You don’t have to drink the bad water to get sick…. Just walking in it with a scratch can cause a nasty infection 😢
People forget that in 1916; Asheville North Carolina flooded as well... It had much less of a population, and 80 people died! Apparently they didn't improve the infrastructure to mitigate these floods. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it! I hope somebody reads this comment around 2120.
before you donate check carefully what percentage of donation get to those in need. the port strike couldn't happen at a worse time. we need supplies. get these workers back to work. they know how to work hard.
P.S. Also, Danno, thank you for taking us along those routes when you and Jessica were touring those roads. I know how both you and Jessica feel. You both just barely escaped the deluge. Wow ! Thank God Almighty that you two listened. Let he hath ears hear. Let he hath eyes see. 🙏🐑✝️❤️📖🌺👩🦳 Stay safe. Stay sweet. Stay blessed always.
Hi Danno!!!!! I can't believe people with horses that can pull are not getting in there to move the trees so the trucks can get in. My Dad used to move trees like that all the time so I know it can be done. My heart is also breaking upon hearing that Crockett State park is gone. All those old cabins that can never be replaced, the old fort, the cemeteries, everything is gone and can never be replaced It is so sad.
@@Loristhriftykitchenpantyr people with private helicopters and.horses have been threatened with arrest and turned away by authorities. Watch JLR interviews .
@@stephanienorris364 I am glad to hear that. I know any time we had a tornado and lots of trees down, my dad would always harness the horses, grab his chain and go help move trees out of the way
These cities, and towns have never been hit with a hurricane, because as soon as the hurricane hits, the shore, it quickly downgrades to a storm. For some strange reason when Helene hit the devastation just kept going for hundreds and hundreds of miles. Hurricanes don’t do that. Hurricanes have never done that. The question is…….. Why did Helene do it? Will other hurricanes do this too? Is this the new norm? I expect people to start moving away from the coastal areas. Bless you Danno. Your doing a great job
There were dams that broke. Also, some areas had rain a few days or a week prior. The ground was already saturated. Dams breaking, that led to rivers and streams to become raging with all that water. Mud slides, trees, and their rootballs just fall over and get swept away. Camp sites along the rivers were swept away. People didn't have much time to get out, there was no warning. I guess it's kind of like the levy breaking in Hurricane Katrina. All the debri.. People getting trapped in their upper floors that couldn't get out and drowned. That taught me to always have an ax in the attic to break through your roof, just in case. The same goes for in your vehicle. You need to be able to shatter the glass to get out because the pressure from the water, you won't be able to open your vehicle door. Have an emergency life vest, the same kind as in the airplanes, pull a string, and it inflates. Very sad that we have to think and prepare this way. We are truly on our own. We have to learn to help each other. 🙏🙏🙏
Cell phone towers do NOT work through satellite. All I have to do is go a half hour out of the city I live in on the west coast, and will run into spotty signal...especially when going through hills and mountains. This whole thing is a reminder (or wake up call) to how disinvested this country has been in its infrastructure, which is a direct result of the whole "government sucks" mantra of the last half century that private interests have used to convince us they don't need oversight or rules to abide by. It just isn't true.
Samaritan’s Purse is very trustworthy and a great percentage of their donations goes to the people in need instead of administration cost. Red Cross has very large administrative cost.
I live in some of the area's that was hit not in the mountains. But a lot of devastated area's. Close to Hickory NC. My son in law is with fire department doing swift water and high water rescue..now there doing body recovery. My son is in our area with fire department doing the same thing..Government has done nothing so far to help. The body count is so much higher then being reported!! The truth is not getting out there. We are doing donations thru fire departments and they are taking stuff up to the worst devastated area's mostly by helicopters!! Belive me when I say it's so much worse then what's really being reported on the news..There are towns that are completely just gone .nothing is left!!💔💔😢The government has yet to do anything g to help at all we are all doing g what we can to help each other..other states coming in lineman to get power and communication back up.. Prayers are desperately needed🙏🙏🙏💔💔 North Carolina Strong🙏🙏✨️✨️
@@AusbandHolisticI did hear about this prior to the hurricane. I've been learning about this this year. People seem to think it's geoengineering, but maybe it is both? I just wish we didn't have to spend so much time digging for the actual truth!
I hope the help arrives soon and this doesn’t go the same way as Kathrina. We have had floods in Europe, but this has been heartbreaking to follow. Stay safe and prayers.
Mercury One has been landing helicopters in mostly NC, into area that are no longer accessible by roads. There's so many groups trying to help. I also heard of a group in Michigan gathering supplies to help take care of livestock. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the group. Ryan Hall's Y'all Squad s sending in star links and accessories so people can communicate with the outside world. We The People are coming together despite the government failure to help.
Im so sorry folks. Its only the beginning. All we can do at this point is hold on. To each other and to our hope in what is going to come after. Like when birth pains come they hurt like hell. But we are birthing a new world.
Sending my sincere thoughts and prayers 🙏 for all the people affected by Helene is is so so devastating unbelievably heartbreaking. Too all my American Friends my thoughts are with you all. From Ontario Canada.🇨🇦🥲🥲❤️
I live in the piedmont area of North Carolina about an hour east of the mountains. Some of the dams failed and that caused a nightmare. People can't get in there because so many of the roads are washed out. There are loads of people collecting supplies here to help. I donated to Samaritan's Purse and I know they are already on the ground helping people.
I live outside of Raleigh and know several people that live there- thankfully they are all ok. What I have heard- one helicopter pilot was threatened with an arrest if he tried to save anyone. Food was turned away saying it had to come thru FEMA. One person said FEMA did show up, asked what they needed and never returned. There is no government help. It's all people helping people. This should have everyone paying attention- they want us to depend on them, then not show up.
I just moved from Nc to KY and I usually still would get weather alerts from their area but they didn’t get any warning. Just the usually heavy rain. Nothing like what actually happened!
I'm crying. I live 2.5 hours away from Asheville. "They" want this land. People said no to selling their houses so "they" created this thing so "they" are just going to f*ng TAKE IT.
