This audit takes place outside this Starbucks location where I did my documenting from the public sidewalk. I was encountered by a classic 'Karen" who rolled her window down stating she didn't to be recorded. I informed her that If she didn't want to be on camera, she shouldn't roll down the window & get the attention of the person holding a camera. She was about to pull out of the driveway into traffic, but decided to get out of her car partially blocking the pedestrian walkway, & walked back to the pick up window to complain about my presence recording. She eventually got back in her car & drove away. I was also met by a possible supervisor of the coffee shop stating that he didn't give consent to document himself or the customers. I retuned that logic to him , stating that I didn't consent for him to approach & talk to me, but he did anyways, so consent isn't really needed 😂 Eventually a Sargent with the Orange County Sheriff's Department arrived on scene & proceeded to go inside the back door to speak with the supervisor who called for service. This was an obvious fail for the calling party & a pass for the sheriff's department coming out to this call in how he handled the situation.
