To everyone affected by the storm we are praying for you. 🙏🏻I’m so devastated for the damage the tornado caused. Thankfully we were not where the tornado was. We talk more about the storm in the next video. We didn’t think the storm would be as serious as it was because all of the locals by us were not phased and told us not to worry about it. But we did get some wind and rain. My grandparents are only down for a few more days so we have been trying to see them everyday before we have to goodbye. But we were told where we are at there would only be rain and winds. So once we saw a tornado warning we headed home.

Babies sense the emotions and stress of their parents, Isla is doing what she knows, what has been taught or allowed. Mom your Husband is a great support system, a lot of Moms dont have a Mason. We have to choose our battles, stop sweating the little things, sometimes we create more drama for ourselves, relax, it will flow over to Isla.

Im 49, have 5 kids, was a stay at home mom and im a behavioral therapist. I know its hard to hear her cry and your tired and its easier to let her have her way but you are actually stunting her growth emotionally every time you give in when she cries because you are not letting her learn how to self soothe. This is something that cannot be taught when she's older. If you keep giving in every time she cries, everything is only going to get worse. For example weaning from breastfeeding, going to school, if you have another kid. Also, every time you give in the next time will be twice as worse and she will cry three times longer than last time. I know people probably tell you she is just a baby it will get better. It won't. You shouldn't have to sit next to her in the car, breastfeed her in the car, hold her all the time. Mom should probably start giving her a bottle because you are going to have a huge battle when its time to wean her. You are essentially letting her be the parent and sometimes being the parent and doing whats best for your kid makes them unhappy in the moment. If you dont start putting your foot down now and stop giving in every time she cries, she will grow up to be unsure of herself and not know how to play by herself,be by herself and she will get very emotional when away from mom.This can be carried over into adulthood. Maybe you should put her in daucare a few hours a day two or three times a week because this will not get better as she gets older. Much luck to you

I was a stay at home Mom too and babies definitely become clingy since we are home 24/7. Maybe think about a day care setting for a few times a week for her and your sake. I have experience with two babies so a break for you and Isla may be needed to give you hours at a time break. Just a suggestion or have Mason take Isla out of the house on walks or errands or you go out alone for a few hours at a time for you and leave Isla at home. Love your channel.
