I always forget (despite experimenting with it myself ) that the revair can be used on cool to prevent heat damage. :D If you want your hair to stay dry but set better, you can use hairspray before or after the install. Your hair came out so stunning!
Simply Gorgeous!!! I definitely want to try this style as my hair gets a little longer and thicker. I have some breakage that’s growing back at different lengths so just wearing twists until it evens out more. But, I definitely want to try this style, just not with the big rods…my sleep is vital!😉😄
Mya, your hair turned out beautifully. I have never seen flexi-rods in green. They were pretty large. How long did it last? How will you style it once the curls completely leave?
Hey MJ and thank you ! I saw them in the beauty supply store! It lasted the same day lol. Last night I used the purple flexi rods and it came out even better. Once the brand approves the content I will go right back to using the Chebe grease until wash day and then go back to the powder.
Setting lotion would work. However all you should apply is a smaller amount it sets fast. Also your set will last 4-7 days The Chebe has your hair Thickem 😊beautiful
@@KlassicallyKept,as mentioned just a little setting lotion. A quarter size of setting lotion into the palms of your hands. Rub your palms together apply the setting lotion from bottle to top of your sections. Smooth hair strands place flexi rod firmly to your parting section . Roll your hair up into the perm rod secure the ends n root by bending both ends of the flexi rods. Your hair will not revert ,because your are adding a light tension while rolling the parted section of your hair strands. I also roll the hair on rollers n flex rods while wet not soaking wet. If your have time. You must learn how to add the right of amount of light tension to your rod or rollset to gain a set that looks like you silk press n curled your hair. Lotta body setting lotion is old school tried and true. It give a beautiful roller or flexi-rod set
Texas too! My hair dryer and I have a love/hate relationship for that reason. My family just got back from Florida and my skin is on point! Y'all's Sun seems so much friendlier than our disrespectful Sun!😂
Turned out beautiful. How long did it last and how did you maintain it? I’ve seen other people with this style and they maintained by Bantu knotting the hair in two sections.
Thank you! lol it lasted the same day. At night I just used the foam rollers again. I am assuming had I used some type of mousse or setting lotion it would have lasted longer.
Lovely style! Do you always use the cool setting to straighten, stretch your hair? How do you care for your hair until wash day? This would help me begin my stretch journey. TIA
Thank you! If I am using the Rev-air I will always use the cool setting, prior to the cool setting we were not friends lol. I only use the hot setting if the intention is to straighten my hair, which is once a year. Since I am on the chebe journey I reapply the chebe every 5 days. Prior to the chebe journey, I would install jumbo twists after stretching my hair with the rev-air and then 4 days I would re-moisturize my hair until wash day with Curls Bluebery and Aloe Moisturizer.
@@KlassicallyKeptbefore your revair on the cool setting. Did you use heat protectant?? Or was there leave-in in your hair already?? Or it was bare damp hair?? Sorry, if I asked this before, I can’t find your revair video (if there is a detailed one with the cool setting😭😭)
They are making AI art with hamitic women with long full hair styled like yours in this video. Your last pic reminded me of them 😂. I'm living vicariously through you doing those flexy rods and the hairstyle. My hair is tailbone length but not as full as your hair.😀 Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾💜💐😀👍🏾🎉
