"I dunno what this does but I got one!" Omg the pain. I remember back in the day, I would bring newbies on my carrack to leech for vell. One time, two of the newbies got their heart and I didn't even had one then. God, the pain. I ended up dropping them in the ocean just for fun lmao.

I have an even funnier story. I had left BDO back when liverto weapons were the BIS, then i came back to playing it when i heard about the massive class reboot. I just so happened to be around when garmoth spawned and i didn't even know what was going on with all the people around, then my first garmoth heart dropped on my very first garmoth kill, and then i got my second one later on the same week (which i sold, and i regret doing that). And now I haven't gotten a single one ever since.

4:30 >.> I've had 4 garmoths heart drops.... 3 on my account, 1 on my daughters as I've been upgrading her gear (she just likes to explore)... She started October 3... and a 5th if you count finishing that nouvers scale quest.... At this point the pity pieces are rarer than the heart as far as I've seen. Also 4 vells hearts.... All have been on shais.

Got heart first garmoth when i started, sold it, pen roulette a year later and deleted account. Started over and now it'll never drop 😂 2 vells in a week. Used up my RNG 😅
