اصلاح نفس کے چار اصول ہیں: 1- "مشارطہ" اپنے نفس کیساتھ"شرط" لگانا کہ"گناہ" نہیں کروں گا/گی- 2- " مراقبہ" کہ آیا "گناہ" تو نہیں کیا- 3- "محاسبہ" کہ اپنا حساب کریں کہ کتنے "گناہ"کیے اور کتنی "نیکیاں" کیں- 4- "مواخذه" کہ"نفس" نے دن میں جو "نافرمانیاں" کیں ہیں اس کو ان کی"سزا" دینا اور وہ سزا یہ ہے کہ اس پر "عبادت" کا بوجھ ڈالیں- (امام غزالی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ۔۔۔ احیاء علوم الدین)

So happy to see this Wednesday show is back! Brother please start podcast too …. When I started learning deen unfortunately I met with a teacher who told me to leave the Hadith and focus on quran only, not just that, she told me to leave tafseer and everything and understand by urself, but Alhumdulillah Alhumdulillah I didn’t have time to continue with her so I started listening to lectures online, dr israr Ahmed mainly… and then I really understood the deen Still I had some doubts which were cleared when I saw a celebrity talking about deen as he wished and saying that there will be no dajjal no Madhi and no Isa A.S … I was sure that I took the right decision in accepting Quran and sunnah. Because it can’t be possible that the signs of hour won’t come before the hour actually comes… And also I learned from these podcasts the importance of Hadith: 1: aliens portals surah kahaf ( The MA podcast) 2: no esa (as) no imam mahdi? ( maulvi with an attitude) Also I heard in madinah while I was sitting in masjid the Shaikh teaching Hadith and even they were explaining Hadith to everyone, if it was so unimportant why would they teach in masjid un nabawwi? Why not only Quran?! These points made me study deen the way it should have been studied. Alhumdulillah indeed for hidayah. Deen is complete but we try to pick and choose as if it’s an open buffet!

Very good explanation. Isn't there a hadith that prophet Muhammad forbade the writing of Hadith during his life because he did not want it to be confused with the Quran? If so, doesn't it mean that the Quran is more important than the Hadith?

Whatever the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم)narrates from his Lord, it is obligatory to believe in it, whether we understand its meaning or not, because he is the most truthful one [namely the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Whatever it says in the Qur’an and Sunnah, every believer must believe in it, even if he does not understand its meaning. May Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ protect us from fitnah & keep our hearts clean اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَينِ يَدَيَّ, وَمِنْ خَلْفِي, وَعَنْ يَمِينِي, وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي, وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَن أُْغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي May Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ grant us all the ability to have strong faith like Hajar and Ibrahim (عليه السلام) and the strength and willingness to give up whatever comes between us and Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ so that we may gain nearness to Him. Ameen!
