Adebiyi Adedeji is looking to revolutionize the gate-keeping with his visitor management app Eluzini. Pitching for N50million for 10% of his business, will he succeed in locking the Lions into a deal?
I really really love Dan Ngarem. The way he takes his time to ask deep concerned questions about an entrepreneur's business; and then gives tips and advice to go about that business. Love him!
I loved the idea and his presentation. I think he needs to try out a few security companies and their client estates before pitching to investors. Other products too will likely coming along the way. Like a residents alert and report system or announcement portal for residents beyond whatsapp groups or customer service feature like phoning the gate and so on.
Good business idea. This guy just needs to create a QR functionality and make it real-time for approval. This is about safety (security), waiting a few seconds for security checks is worth it.
Surprisingly, I have watched all the series, and have checked/followed up on the progress of all the businesses/startups involved. And none has progressed or is available on social media or the Internet at the moment. So, it is fair to say, over 90% of them have failed, unless proven.
For a place like Nigeria, this sort of technology is necessary. Truth is, we’re so used to being in hurry, that’s why Dan raised the point of a long line up. Please let’s be realistic, how often do 10 cars, come same time to an organization or even an estate ?? They don’t get the concept. We need this. I’ve waited in VGC for over 20 mins to get into the estate, and I’ve waited.
Exactly. Not everyone needs to download an app for everything, it can get annoying. A Web app is fine for things we don't do so often, like visiting aan estate.
This guy has a great idea. I feel the technology ain't for Nigeria yet, Nigerians are very resistant to technology. I would say he upgrade the technology & go to a country that's adaptive to technology.
bro, these guy does not understand tech or what? a web app works on mobile like any website out there. also, you can build the app and ship for mobile as an hybrid solution. it is a website bundled and shipped as n app. bro....
Like that part just baffled me. I tbought he was going to say the Web app can be accessed via mobile also. A PWA would be much better for something like this. I don't see anyone wanting to download a full app just because they want to visit someone
IKR 😅. Or just say you can open the web app on your phone using a link. That simple. I don’t think that the world going mobile means every solution should have a mobile app rather every solution should be mobile accessible. Adebiyi should have mentioned this. I recommend he pitches to estates and enterprises directly. It’s a powerful solution actually
@Nuaz Revotlip You are right Nuaz, streamlining is a very vital part of product development, especially as a startup. We are revamping and taking a more data-driven approach in our addition and prioritization of features. Alof of apps in the visitor management space like Envoy.
Apologies bro. It's reason why we need to rebrand the "Aboki" ish by getting our people, including your brothers educated. Aboki by its original meaning isn't a bad name.
