Hey, back at it again. This is a little edit I made of the relationship between Meredith, Amelia and Maggie. I just really love their energy. Watch in 1080p ! Ok, I hope you'll like it.
I think he would be happy about Maggie and Mer too. Right before he died things were still rocky with Maggie and Meredith. He's the one who got Mer to open up and talk to Maggie.
Meredith, Cristina, Lexie, Amelia and Maggie would have a perfect sisterly bond had they all been in one episode or season! The most heart warming and heartfelt Meredith said “Family is Family! I don’t care which blood you have!” ❤️❤️❤️
This video really made me realize just how special and deep the Meredith/Amelia/Maggie sisterhood has gotten. It’s easy to focus so much on the OG crew with Christina, Alex, George and Izzie, but Meredith really did form a new chosen sisterhood and I love that. Greys has been reinvented so many times and against the wills of the fans but they always chase the chemistry and the results are beautiful true to life bonds. I think Meredith’s 1st chapter was a lot of finding people who were “dark and twisty” like herself and then post s11 when we end with a dance it off we see a Meredith who is still a little edgy, still a little dark and surly, but who has a lot more grace and space in her life for sunshine people-I love that growth.
What I really want more of is Maggie and Amelia's relationship. They just randomly have these really cool moments together but for the life of me I don't remember that closeness like...developing. Maybe I'm just skipping too many episodes upon rewatch tho
Ik people may disagree but imagine how great it could’ve been if Lexie and Cristina were both there with them. It’s already great with just Amelia, Maggie, and Mer but it could’ve been Lexie, Mer, Cristina, Maggie, and Amelia 🥺❤️
It would be great but I think Maggie and Christina would have butted heads they both think they’re right all the time and can’t be beat. But I think they would have come to a good middle ground if understanding does mer
I’m my opinion it’s hard for mer to easily like and trust people because of the way she was raised by Ellis but you can see even when Mer and Amelia and when Mer and Maggie were fighting that Mer still cared for them deeply before she admitted it and started seeing them as her sisters
The relationship between these 3 is what this show is missing every week. Too many people in the cast that are boring and not interesting at all get too much tv time.
I hate it when people screw up that quote and change its real meaning, the actual quote is: "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb". Which literally means the Family we choose is more important that the family we did not choose. I hope anyone reading this will help correct the corruption of this beautiful quote.
Frankly,I'm surprised that Mer doesn't literally live at Sloane-Grey,because wherever she resides is the crossroads of this universe, with nigh-on everyone passing through....
The original quote is 'the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. I.e., it means almost exactly the opposite. People we choose to commit to are stronger bonds than biology.
Amelia was Derek's sister, Maggie is Meredith's sister, when Mer returned with her kids to Seattle, Amelia and Maggie moved in to her house to help her with the kids. They became closer as time passed.
Derek and Amelia are siblings Mer married derek meaning Amelia became her sister in law after derek died they got closer and dropped the in law abs are just sisters. Maggie is Merediths half sister
