What I miss in the sequel is that we never get to know who Rey is a person, my main issue is that the moveis do not have any story - it is fightscene after fightscene.
They all just wanna get away from Star Wars and Disney completely and I don't blame them. Nerds hassle them all the time with their theories and fandoms its annoying.

What’s with all the haters for the newer movies? I watched all of the movies before hand to get the feel for the new one coming out. I am guaranteed that if “A New Hope” would have came out today rather than their new movie, people would hate it very, very much. I get the nostalgia but guys there were a lot of stuff that happens in the original trilogy that is exactly like in the new movie. Snoke is basically Emperor Palpatein, when we truly see palpatein we don’t know who the heck he is, and when he dies everyone’s like oh so good, then snoke, everyone is like “where’s the backstory”. You only know him through the prequels (palpatein). Also how Obi one dies the same as... but you guys are being really dumb as basically all of the stuff you are hating on would be the exact same criticism. Get your thoughts out of nostalgia world, those movies have a lot of the same bad stuff as the ones today, if it wasn’t for the prequels you would know most of the stuff happened. My opinion.

EmeraldPhan Mary Sue is a term first used to describe fan fiction first in the 70's maybe 80's and then colloquially after that nah rey is a mary sue.. do u know how long it took Anakin who was a child of the force with no parents, to use a lightsaber with success? Luke had proper training from both obi wan AND yoda before he ever did a force pull or similar feats Rey just does this stuff without the proper established background For example a new hope at the very beginning lukes uncle mentions how luke isnt really a farmboy at heart, is more into flying/racing and his dad was the best space pilot in the galaxy.. rey pilots and engineers the millenium falcon better than han solo without proper explaination In the snoke scene Rey and Kylo didnt lose, they wernt seriously injured (lukes hand got chopped off by vader) and emerged victorious. She didnt switch to the darkside despite being tempted, shes basically from a space ghetto but is noble and heroic, and her connection to kylo is so 'forced' if you excuse the pun Finally, just a point about Kylo. His inner conflict could have been written well but just comes across as confused and weak minded on screen. Hes not a good standout villain for the trilogy. They need to bring snoke back and bring kylo to the lightside if they want to have a good bad guy. Vader is 10× more intimidating than kylo, he had authority and demonstrated his dominance. Kylo might be an interesting character.. but Rey as the main hero and kylo as the main villain is trash to me
At least let her have a journey to get all these powers not just gain these powers in the first movie. We know she is Palpatine's granddaughter but even he had a journey under the apprenticeship of Darth Plagueis The Wise. In fact, Palpatine started off as a skinny pod racer on Naboo who had no friends and was a low life.
