Bruh the graphic is not even that good for skyrim modding standard. I could easily run something like this without rtx vga and something above i5 10th gen. $1000 pc is enough.
@@snowmanleblanc6053 mate I live in Brazil, where every dollar is 5 times the value of the currency here. A 1000 dollars computer would cost 5000 reais in here. And keep in mind that the average pay is 1.300 reais per month. So, yeah. A 1000 dollar computer is way out of the mark for me. For instance, my pc cost 2100 reais, and I'm glad I can run any mods at all in my Skyrim.
I disagree, a good load order can change the entire experience, I also played this on ps3 and the loading screens were such a time killer and im sure alot of my game time was dedicated to looking at them. However when I got to Xbox one that's when my Khajit characters got over 600 hours of play cus the load times were that much better and the game performance was top notch, a definite upgrade from release.
Honestly, I've downloaded a lot of modlists but I keep coming back to Novlus. I'm playing Ascension now and it is amazing. The installer worked very well. I totally agree with Deep's comments on both the look and combat.
@-Ormex cbbe is just the body. High poly heads is the face usually, and then you need eye mods, eyebrow mods, makeup, hair and some others. I usually just download presets, then save them as a new preset, then edit them
@@-Ormex CBBE is for the body shape, to put it simply. If you don't want curvy characters, you don't have to install it. You can make your character pretty with merely 2 types of mods: skin mod (i.e: The Pure) and hair mod (i.e: SaLa Hair). But if you want your character to be sexy and.. ahem- soft, you need XPMSSE (for skeleton), CBBE (for body shape), CBPE (for jiggle physics) and Bodyslide (a third party software to make your armors and clothes fit your body shape). These are the basic mods to make your character pretty. However, if you want the full package immersion route.. like animations, pretty outfits, expressive face, complex collisions etc, you have to go extra miles. But appearance is one of the easiest part of modding for mod users anyway.
FYI: I downloaded this today on a pretty decent Gaming PC and it almost looked worse than vanilla Skyrim (with a few selected mods) and ran at 26fps. Either something went really wrong during the installation or it takes a 4090 to run it at 60fps
@@rolandrohde my friend can run it and he said he has the 3rd best graphics card he runs it at around 80fps and it looks amazing you probably messed up installation or have a PC that doesn't have top 10 hardware
@@Nomorejello Yes, I assume something must have gone wrong with the installer. I have a AMD 7800XT GPU and 32GB of Ram, so it should run a lot better. No CPU bottleneck either, I only had about 5% CPU load Ingame...so...I will check tomorrow. Maybe I will have to try running it at a lower resolution...but that only explains the bad performance, not the flat look and other issues
@@cbiggs3does it really need to? I mean they've repackaged and resold the game about a million times now. And honestly it still sells. I literally just upgraded from my series x to a up to date 3090 PC build and I'm going to have to rebuy Skyrim AE all over again just to use this mod list on it. So they still making money off it cause of their amazing fan base of Modders.
Ship of theseus, at 2k mods, its skyrim in name only. Cool project to see how far modders can take it, but definitely not something to sink a playthrough. Might aswell mod the witcher
@@lushbIoodIt doesn't matter what hardware you have; it's all about script conflicts. I worked on this for about two years and created an excellent build with over 300 mods, but I couldn't resolve the conflicts, and in the end, I gave up. When a conflict occurs, it's very difficult to find the culprit mod through the log file. I don't understand how these issues can be solved when there are thousands of mods.
@@MrDenLion I'm very new at this and I got Nolvus last week and I've crashed twice in 43 hours. There's 2119 mods. I did have to switch monitors from 1440p to 1080p because I have a 2070 Super which is fairly weak but the rest of my gear is pretty maxed out. Maybe I haven't played enough? 2 crashes, once when I was messing the ENB and second was enabling a bunch of shit in the Mod Config Menu. Maybe when I hit 100 hours, I'll notice more crashes but 2 in 43 hrs is pretty solid imo. You're probably correct that it's script conflicts but the auto installer clearly received a lot of work. I had 3 errors in the download and resolved it within an hour. Again disclaimer, I'm new at this. All the best.
@@lushbIood Nolvus is likely made with quality and without conflicts (I don't know how this is done. Maybe they use third-party programs, or maybe it's meticulous mod selection and constant log file reading). I wanted to download it too, but judging by RU-vid videos, it doesn't look as good visually as expected, plus I think the optimization is poor. My build, as I see it, looked better and had good performance since I tailored it to my GTX 1070 graphics card. I saw today that they're launching an RP online project in Skyrim, let's see what comes of it.
It's a testament to just how solid the Skyrim base is for gaming (despite all its initial bugs) that so many mods and modlists now are a thing. I'm currently in love with the Phoenix Flavour myself, but Nolvus is definitely like a Crysis or something. It's a benchmark for what the game can do with a few years of extra development. XD
Not really 2000 mods though (Plugin wise), most of that is just textures without a esp/esm/esl. Once I got a good PC I'll download the modlist and just customize it to my tastes. I would grab a mod list for fallout 4, but my 200 hours of literally just diagnosing and fixing errors makes it impossible for me to give up that 1k mod list I've sloppily put together. It's stable, just not the most ideal fps (35fps with stutters).
@@ryuusuk33 I'm personally getting a 4070 and i9-13900k build in a few months but you could probably get away with a 2070-2080 series gpu and a i7-12th gen or 13th gen cpu. I'm grabbing a 4070 because of frame gen, Puredark has a paid mod out for skyrim and fallout 4 (ENB Supported). The 2070 can run the redux variant of Nolvus, so you should be good there. All depends on your budget really, the build I'm getting costs around 2800$
The mod pack overall is great, but there’s just some odd choices that I don’t understand. For example, there’s a mod that adds an execution animation for female characters where you throw enemies to the ground and sit on their face to kill them. If that’s what you’re into then cool, but that mod is mandatory and can’t not be installed with the mod pack for some reason
the problem is nolvus is set up for insanely high tier systems. the average person wont be able to even install everything. i tried with expectation of like 15 fps and couldnt even get installer to finish cuz my hardware wasnt good enough. i admit i dont have the best set up but its not bad by any measure. one of these days. id love to play skyrim like this.
i never watched naruto so i dont really understand the different effects and stuff but the dub and pikachu is cool. i unfortunately only have skyrim on switch tho so no mods 😞 the dub has so much emotion compared to the vanilla
And then I download shit that turns all the dragons into Thomas the Train. Or adds My Little Ponies. Or adds a battalion of Tommy Wiseaus in the form of various horrific creatures that will fight by your side.
Calling Nolvus "performance friendly" is just wrong lol. Minimum requirements are 32gb of ram just for stability, if youre not using Redux, you need I think a high end 30-series or 40-series GPU, a good CPU, and really just an all-around above average kit. Redux is definitely "better" but still a struggle on anything less than a 2060/2070. That said, it is a really amazing collection and fun as heck
Ya see... when i originally heard skyrim was getting remastered, i thought it would be more like the witcher 3 in graphics etc... boy was i disappointed 😂 thank god for the modding community
