Not only is it an infuser, but it keeps the seeds from escaping, has a dog bowl and an emergency headband?! Girl, the amount of thought that went into the design and functionality is just brilliant. Keep going sweetheart. 🤩
@@carpballet in this case, you put in a fruit of your choosing like lemon or cucumber, let it set in the water. By letting it soak into the water, the water takes on a subtle flavoring of the fruit and some electrolytes (depending on the fruit being high in electrolytes already). It's good for when you're about to do an workout session or if you're the type of person who needs a little ✨️flavor✨️ in your water. It helps add that pizzazz
@@zackeryy-w9h they should, but you might need to cut the strawberries to release the juice. Watermelon is pretty self explainitory cause how else are you going to get the fruit in there 😅
I’m a physician. Do not force yourself to drink a set amount of water like this. Your body is fine tuned to alert you if you need to drink through cues such as thirst. You’re at risk of electrolyte derangements when you force yourself to drink a set amount of hypotonic fluid. Everyone has different requirements based on their physiology, work output, environment, etc. it’s not one size fits all.
Your obviously not a physician because a gallon a day won't cause you any harm and it's only a problem if you try to drink it all at once, I hope you can see the stamps in the bottle, drinking lots of water is a actually healthy and you don't have to wait till you're tasty
Genuinely love fruit infused water, it takes getting used to if you’re a big time soda drinker but trust me it’s worth it to cut down on soda and drink water instead!
@@doglovervibez well, there aren't any healthy sodas that you'll just typically see when you're out shopping. It's better to just not drink soda, or at least not drink it often.
Reminder that being overhydrated is also a thing ❤ If your urine is 100% clear, you're over hydrating, which can put strain on your kidneys and make it difficult for your body to filter out toxins! Everyone is different so just pay attention to your body's cues.
Over hydration can also lead to increased thirst. Just because your body tells you to drink more water doesn't mean you should. Drinking too much water over time can lead you to being hospitalized. A friend of mine drank too much water for years and ended up in the hospital due to severe electrolyte and mineral imbalance.
Omg this happened to my sister because she sweated all her electrolytes out and chugged a gallon water in 2 minutes later that night she started seizing and the fireman came and pit her in an ambulance they say if it had been five minutes later she would have died❤ I'm so grateful to this day I'm 14 btw
As a nephrologist, I can definitely say that drinking 1 gallon of water everyday is way too much & is not recommended. Drinking too much water leads to water intoxication & electrolyte imbalance & will do more harm than good. For a normal person it is recommended to drink water as per thrist. P.S- Also drinking lots of water everyday to make your skin glow is a myth.
The "more is better" attitude when it comes to water needs to stop. When that is said, for someone like me that's never thirsty (or hungry) drinking enough is always a challenge.
Tap water has actually always tasted boring and “off” to me, even though I live in a country with very well regulated filtered? Safe tapwater essentially (pardon me english not fluent). Cold water is not my thing because it’s like a shock to my system lol unless it very hot outside then it’s the best thing ever. I can only tolerate bottled water but then I feel bad about the plastic waste. 😅 People have different tastebuds. I even have a friend who can’t drink any normal water at all unless it has an added flavor 😂
she didn't think of the water going stale and the bacteria that's coming from your mouth into the bottle and thrive there throughout the whole day though...
@@Xia-hu The naturally occurring bacteria from YOU should not be a problem for YOU. And if you’re still worried, the citric acid from the lemons should take care of that. Stop being a wimp.
@@TheNationOfTexas well maybe learn some biology first, and then comment. Look it the f up. "As soon as you take a sip, your lips and mouth introduce microorganisms into your H2O. Combined with the ambient temperature in your home or office, and sunlight streaming into your windows, those microorganisms could start to multiply pretty quickly,". There's a difference between having some bacteria from your mouth in the water and than those bacteria multiplying and you drinking them the fck back.
According to where you live. Where I'm at right now if I do any level of activity outside or even just sitting honestly... Even a gallon probably won't be enough.
@@dawnnelson7876 not according to where i live but for the average person looking at these posts it is more than enough. everyone has different needs for sure
@WhatsIQ it's called not working your body hard lol. Water tastes amazing working out in the heat. Legit feel your body absorbing the water while you drink it
For people who hate plain water or just don't feel motivated to drink it I started using cold infuse tea bags they have lots of flavors like berry, orange, lime, pineapple ect and its all just dried fruit that actually has a lot of flavor if u let it sit for 10 minutes or so u can also use regular tea bags of fruit flavored tea but leave it in longer.
@@pieceofpeace35 I'm from australia and I just find them in the tea and coffee section at my local grocery stores. Have a look around, you might only be able to find them online I'm not too sure.
@@pieceofpeace35I find mine in the coffee/tea aisle! You have to read the labels because they tend to stick them with the regular tea bags which is a little annoying haha
People please be careful drinking that much water. It is very possible to overdose from water either by deleting your sodium or by literally drowning. Trust me, I've almost done the latter. Luckily I was able to vomit and vomiting a pint of water or more at one time is very excruciating and when you do this 2-3 times in a row it will bruise your esophagus. Just be mindful and use good judgement.
My father is a Dr. Retired already. I show him this video a few times and he told me that was too much water to consume in one day. And specially if you do this much water every day, it can actually kill you.
Can confirm! I overdid it by trying to complete one of these bottles in 1 day (not this exact bottle, but I got one on Amazon that was also 1 gallon, because I saw a coworker doing it and I was inspired) and long story short, my sodium dropped too low and I almost passed out in the hallway at work lol. I got super nauseous and felt like crap the rest of the day. PACE YOURSELF if you want to drink more water! You gotta work up to it.
Yes, but drink as per your time. Starting slowly works. If you only drink a few glasses then start with drinking about 2 bottles a day not a gallon. Too much water is somewhat rare to happen. Stay hydrated ✨
Yes, you reallyyy have to pace yourself! Water can be harmful in large doses, one time when I was a dumb kid I was dared to drink 7 water bottles as fast as I can. I literally passed out and was hallucinating 😂 I was fine but it was a warning for sure. I try to drink like 4 water bottles a day now but over a period of time of course
Please do not take this woman’s words as facts🚨A gallon is wayyyy overhydrating yourself and you will end up with medical complications in the long run 🚨🚨Always consult a doctor
Fruit infusers do nothing for the taste if u struggle to drink water add a zero calorie artificial fruit sweetener. Ontop of the fact that it’s just a plastic jug with words printed on it, like it can’t even keep my water cold ur better off w a regular bottle of water 😂
most people do not need to drink even half a gallon of water, we need to INGEST aroun 2L every day (for a 180cm person of medium build), which takes into acocunt water coming from food + non water drinks
Yep. While there are some people who are fine doing this for the time being, low sodium or electrolyte imbalance can be very dangerous. I had to decrease my water intake because my sodium dropped too low and my doctor said I was getting to the point where people have seizures.
Yesssss the recommended intake of water is not just pure plain water... It takes into account everything that contains water.. soups, fruits and vegetables, sauces, other beverages... But hey, if it's summertime and you're sweating a lot, your body will appreciate some extra water
Let's also remember it's summer and there are dangerous heat waves coming through, and her products are generally marketed towards active individuals. So yes, you need higher water intake. Humans don't need x amount of fluids per day. It is completely individualistic, depending upon activity levels, height, weight, local climate, health conditions, among other things.
@fefemyluv you didn't really need to decrease water intake. You just needed to increase electrolytes. Add in a few pretzels and a potassium supplement.
The dog bowl is absolutely genius. Tip for anybody with POTS or find that no matter how much water they drink, they still feel thirsty/dehydrated - Make sure you add electrolytes to your water!!! I've seen a LOT of people discussing POTS and similar conditions lately, especially frustration in getting diagnoses and treatment. So just wanted to share this tip that I wish I had known sooner, with all the other fitness, outdoorsy and active girlies! If you notice you still feel thirsty after drinking plenty of water, you are very possibly diluting your electrolytes. For folks with POTS, etc, drinking too much plain water leads to a form of dehydration called hyponatremia. This can range from very mild where you feel thirsty and fatigued, but can become quite serious leading to brain swelling, coma and death. Sharing this personal account in case it helps anyone: I went to the ER for this and was on death's door simply because I drank too much water one day. I thought I was being healthy, and because I kept feeling thirsty and fatigued as the day progressed, I continued to chug more water assuming it would make me feel better. Turns out that was the opposite of what my body needed. I always had my water bottle and drank from it regularly, but always ended up feeling thirsty and tired. This particular day was more extreme and I responded by drinking even MORE water. Turns out the entire time I just needed more electrolytes. At the time, multiple doctors were baffled over my chronic electrolyte imbalance because my blood tests came back "normal". The advice I kept getting was, "just stop drinking plain water; add some electrolytes". It was a bit annoying because obviously something was very wrong with me, as I was always thirsty and tired. However adding electrolytes to my water made a huge difference and I stopped being thirsty and dehydrated all the time. It was impressive. Almost a decade later and I finally got a diagnosis for hypothyroidism and POTS. And one of the main treatments for pots? Drink electrolytes and keep your sodium up. So yeah, just a cautionary tale for anyone else experiencing these symptoms. Be careful about chugging that much plain water in one day! POTS and similar conditions are fairly common but difficult to diagnose. It's important to stay hydrated, but don't push your body if you notice drinking plain water makes you more thirsty and tired. Just a tip I wish I had known sooner! I'm lucky to be alive all because I was trying to stay hydrated and ended up almost k!lling myself in the process 🙃 That said, this water bottle is gorgeous. Throw a couple nuun into that bad boy, some citrus fruits and ice, and you're good to go!!!
I found out that homemade saline is a gift from god. Half a gallon of water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking powder is it?), and the juice of around 2 to 3 lemons. It tastes pretty decent and keeps your electrolytes high. That's my recipe and the amount I drink everyday, though it depends on your weight.
Excuse me what the F Me, reading this: OOOOH I don't know what's POTS but I gave similar experience with water drinking! Me, checking what POTS is, finding out it's a condition I already researched in the past because of my tachycardia related problems: F*CK Time to ask the doctor for help :)
@@morgi9659 The best advice I can give you is to advocate for yourself. A lot of doctors might try to dismiss you but don't give up. Your health goes first
@@Infinitymc1mu well, if youre walking around with a water bottle that large it can be assumed that you’re doing some sort of activity or in heat so…dog bowl and headband 😭
@@rogerheisler2554 A whole gallon is too much unless you're huge (and not necessarily as in overweight, just someone very tall for example). You need to drink water based on your weight, about an ounce for every 2lbs. I need a little bit less than half a gallon.
@rogerheisler2554 it's a myth that you are already dehydrated when thirsty. That's like saying you are literally starving if you are hungry. Our thirst drive is there to prevent dehydration. That being said, it does seem like some people don't get thirsty a normal amount and may need to have a water goal.
Too much water be careful of sodium level. It flushed out sodium when it gets to low like under 135…. You can feel fatigue, lost consciousness, confused and many other symptoms including coma. I’m a nurse don’t overdo it..!!
And then there’s me who drinks double of that and has the worst skin ever 😭😭 Cuz people always tell me, to have a better skin drink more water, and I do that but it doesent help :(
Be careful not to over hydrate as youll lose salts, sugars and minerals through too much peeing. If youre just sitting at a deask, or not miving a lot as in strenuous exercise or laborious work, a gallon a day is fine for men, and about 0.71 gallons for women. Remember to replensih with electrolytes if you over hydrate (just a little extra salt n sugar). 😊
@@madisonwilliamson Not necessarily. If you feel OK - you probably are OK. We are born with the ability to know when we are thirsty. If you are healthy then the general advice is to drink when you want to.
@madisonwilliamson I would second drink water as you feel thirsty. The gallon for men and the less than a gallon for women are just guidelines. Everybody will have different needs, as well as depending on whether its summer or winter, dry or humid climate, exercising or not etc. However drinking excessive water does not equate to more hydrated or more "glowy" skin. There is such a thing as over hydrating and just like anything else out of balance, it's not good for us.
@@mydeershikaxoxogaOver hydration can lead to excess thirst, which will cause problems over time. A friend of mine landed in the hospital because of this.
@@classycactus9737 how is this condescending? also to all of y’all saying you need this much water, you do not, but you do need water so rather than bringing a 20kg water bottle bring two 1kg water bottles for almost the same amount 🤷♀️🙌
I have a 2 liter bottle for the complete opposite reason. I drink too much water and the doctor told me that the water flushes out the good minerals so I have to drink less water. I keep the bottle with me to make sure I don't drink more than 4 liters a day😂😂
yeah a gallon seems like way too much for the average person, maybe for someone who’s really active in a warm climate this is good- but most people shouldn’t try to do this
Try sipping the water throughout the day and adding an electrolyte blend to it-if you tend to be thirsty, electrolytes can help balance your water-salt ratio.
Yep. I almost k!lled myself with hyponatremia by drinking too much plain water in one day. Once I started adding electrolytes to my water, I suddenly stopped being plagued by chronic thirst and dehydration. Some people just can't do tons of plain water. Nuun tablets are my go-to now and start the day with one of those in a can of seltzer water. I feel considerably better with that little regimen!;

absolutely love the design, but would you be able to make a smaller version? i’d love to be able to pack a 30/40 oz water bottle with this design for school, a gallon is just a bit much for me and some people.
Cool design, but this is dangerous. It's recommended to drink around 35ml of water per kilo of healthy bodyweight, so unless you're 7'5", 1 gallon per day is WAY too much and can cause water intoxication and pulmonary edema which can be fatal.
Damage caused by dehydration is more uncommon than damage done by overhydration. 2 litres is plenty ❤ Glowy skin, diet helps but a lot of it comes down to your metabolism/hormones & skin-care.
@@Hysteriette it's literally half of it...and as I said 2 litres is *plenty* meaning if you drank a litre of water a day you'd still be doing great 😊👍🏻
"Most cases of water poisoning do not result from simply drinking too much water, says Joseph Verbalis, chairman of medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center. It is usually a combination of excessive fluid intake and increased secretion of vasopression (also called antidiuretic hormone), he explains. Produced by the hypothalamus and secreted into the bloodstream by the posterior pituitary gland, vasopressin instructs the kidneys to conserve water. Its secretion increases in periods of physical stress-during a marathon, for example-and may cause the body to conserve water even if a person is drinking excessive quantities. Every hour, a healthy kidney at rest can excrete 800 to 1,000 milliliters, or 0.21 to 0.26 gallon, of water and therefore a person can drink water at a rate of 800 to 1,000 milliliters per hour without experiencing a net gain in water, Verbalis explains. If that same person is running a marathon, however, the stress of the situation will increase vasopressin levels, reducing the kidney's excretion capacity to as low as 100 milliliters per hour. Drinking 800 to 1,000 milliliters of water per hour under these conditions can potentially lead a net gain in water, even with considerable sweating, he says."
All you have to do is drink a giant amount of water. Has nothing to do with what your kidneys are or are not doing. It causes a deadly imbalance of salt in your body. That's what kills you.
People have died from too much water that did not have kidney problems. So ya try to get into semantics if you want to, but this women drinking a gallon of water a day is most likely dehydrating herself by her kidneys peeing out the extra fluids and most importantly the hydrating electrolytes
will immediately be purchasing! no matter how hard i try to drink more water it never works out, but i’m hoping that the fruit infuser design will help me stay motivated! thank you! ❤❤
Just know this amount of water is not recommended. More ≠ better. Too much water over time can land you in the hospital. If you drink so much that your pee is clear you are flushing out important electrolytes and minerals. That is very harmful to the body. Excess water intake can also lead to extreme thirst. Just do your research to make sure you do what's best for your body.

Drinking enough water offers health benefits, however, drinking too much water, such as 3-4 liters of water, in a short period leads to water intoxication. For proper metabolism, a normal human body requires about two liters of water.
Ok it’s cute an all but 1. In the summer heat a plastic water bottle that is gonna make my water warm is the worst and 2. I ain’t gonna drink 4.5l a day and also this might lead to people over drinking which ain’t good for the body
