For anyone interested, Qu is for Quintillion, however Ive normally seen it shortened to Qi. Also the next level is Sx for Sextillion, followed by Sp for Septillion.

You have plenty of sand. You have several billion glass queued up to craft. It just only crafts a few thousand per second so it’ll take millions of seconds to finish crafting i.e. days. You need to farm gems to upgrade your crafting speed if you want to start unlocking the upgrades that require craftables faster

2:48 Let me help you decode the screen. The Yellow text is how much of the resource you have. The White text is how much per second you can craft. The Gray text has two meanings - outside the brackets is how much resources are being transformed (consider this a storage) and inside brackets is how much you can craft given the craft size selected (top right corner, you are now at 100%). Doing upgrades here increases the craft per second amount, but you still need the resources as input.

I love the way you've upgraded the "Seed Increase Chance" to the point when you've basically broken the numbers, and it has to E+ them.

I like the thought of "I need more sand" , when he has enough sand, but not enough crafting per second. Also try changing the stage when you are at the sun just a thought.

You really didn't need any more sand for the glass crafting, you already had billions of it in queue for crafting, it's just that you can only craft 10k a second until you get more gems to speed it up. I think the final vision upgrade unlocks a gem planet somewhere and that's when you can finally get enough for crafting speed to finally catch up to the queue of resources you have stuffed into them.

@RealCivilEngineerGaming you should use your gems to upgrade your crafting speeds, the white text on the crafting is how many you are crafting per tick, the yellow text is how many you have crafted currently, and the grey text is how many you queued for crafting. Took me a while to figure it out myself but seeing that youre close to the "end" i think waiting around for glass to craft 4k per tick when you need 1b glass would take a looooooong while if you dont upgrade them :D

The seeds only help a little, make sure to look at the sun a little closer. It has a special tab

Watching this series absolutely convinced me to buy this game. The only downsides are that it's not too long if you pour a ton of time into it, and it's so addictive that you'll absolutely pour a ton of time into it. But the amount of enjoyment I got out of playing this (and planning to replay it with a different approach to upgrades) is absolutely worth the paltry $8 it costs!

The seed drop chance is a percentage, but you have to mine the particular resource you want to get a seed of that type, its not a random seed. Every resource has a seed. When you add more seeds, it adds to the multiplier of how many of that resource per tick, and the cores multiply that number. For farming you want seeds from every resource, then just blast through prestiges to get cores, then add cores and seeds to the resource. Then for crafting, you need to not only have the resource, but you need to use gems to increase the amount it produces and the speed it produces at. At a certain point, you're just queueing up a ton of crafting but its just too slow to make it, you need to farm gems and get that number up. Eventually you can pretty much just automate it, you'll get enough resources through farms, and have a fast enough crafting that you don't have to worry about any of it.

You do well, but consider this: - Use Gem equipment - Get more gems, the more gems and then some more - Upgrade crafting per second, with gems - in farming, its quite useless to add more then one presitge point - Prestigemultiplier is strong, dont spend them in farmingtap - If you prestige the sun, a new dropdown menu appears - In craftingtap, the the first line is what you have, second line what is in queue in and brackets what you may produce if you click "craft" - Qu means Quintillion, after that Sx then comes Scientific Notation - Prestige all the planets and get the challege as high as possible - Shinyblocks are meh, keep them off - Singularityequipment is ridiculous strong, get it I love your content, keep it up :)

Rce you have 36 billion glass in queue, You don’t need to craft more you need to increase the amount you get per second. You do this by upgrading it with gems and to get more gems you need to equip the gem materializer in the equipment tab and use it on the home planet.

Just a tip for you Matt, when you upgrade the crafters with diamonds it increases the number of the item that is crafted. For instance you are only making 4.538K glass/craft, but you have 34.649B BILLION that you have paid for to be crafted. Assuming it crafts at a rate of 1 craft per second, it would take ~14.5 years to craft all that glass. My recommendation to get a lot of gems is equip the gem siphon, get it max upgraded by mining the necessary resources, and then gems will fly up. Hope you see this so I can quit yelling at the screen for you to do this. Engineers for the win

Hey RCE, Thank you for the videos, picked this game up after watching your 1st couple of videos. It was really fun game that scratched the incessesant need to complete the whole tech tree. I finished the game. Yes, there is an end. Won't spoil it here, but man you get OP by the end. Was destroying planets within a few seconds of loading with all the handicaps like 15x Block health / cannot hit more than 10 blocks etcc .... Even reached prestige 300+ on multiple planets without any effort by the end.

This game is hilarious. Every channel I've seen try this game goes the same way. They start off overwhelemed but every upgrade they make they say things like "wow" "oh look that's good". Then the next game they post to their channel they have a TON of upgrades and going nuts like they've been playing off camera for a few days and saying how much they love the game.

10:20 Just to clarify for anyone interested, upgrading the crafting section with gems doesn't mean that you get more resources total, it only means that it's capable of crafting that number of resources per run. It will still cost the same resources per resource crafted. It's basically DPS for crafting... CPS? Crafting Per Second? Anyhoo, you don't get more bang for your buck, so to speak. It just means crafting is faster.

You need more gems Matt ! In the crafting tab, the grey number is the "queue" for crafting that material, and gems upgrades allow you to pump throught the queue faster, buy clicking the craft button, you only make the queue longer but you dont craft more/second thats what the gems are for :3 hope it helps !

Grabbed this game thanks to these videos. I enjoy Cookie Clicker for a few days and this is a slightly more interactive version + a space version, so it was fun to beat. Still have 3-4 things to upgrade & 2 achievements to get, but I did officially beat the game. Can’t wait to see how you handle what you’ve done to the sun (when you discover that option). No more details because spoilers.

I've recently "finished" this game, with only the most ridiculous achievement left, it's pretty fun. Damage boosts that affect orbital laser are king.

Sun actually has three stages: the sun itself, the super nova, and the blackhole. You can find sigularity in the blackhole. You've prestiged the sun so you have access to super nova. If you prestige the super nova, blackhole is yours to mine! Also, use gems to upgrade your crafting speed. It won't produce more though, just faster

The game is called "To The Core" for a reason. Your most important resource is the number of cores farmed. So I'd try and prestige the first 2 planets as high as possible asap.

You can afk the meteorite planet because leaving the controls makes you spin in circles and shoot rockets everywhere which blows up the meteorites and then recharges your fuel

I love this game

I think it would be wise to farm cores and prestiges in some of the earlier planets soon as you could probably go quite far. Also it might be wise to keep some cores instead of using them all on seeds, as you get a damage multiplier from the amount of cores you have. And the reason you get so much money from the home planet is because it's prestige is so high. The money you get is based on how many blocks you break, and since the prestige is so high, every block you break is like breaking thousands of blocks at once, so it gives a lot of money.

i was bloqued near where you are in this game (I didn't find the last recource), when you click on sun, you can change the type of sun if condition is ok, if it can help you to not bi blocked like me.

A lot of seed pumpin'

shiny blocks are such a trap, they're stupidly harder then normal materials, but their drops don't seem that much better, just turn them off. Also, don't forget to turn on the challenges, their effect stacks on that planet, so you can have much better drop rates. It's particularly good for the gold planet, as you need a truly ridiculous amount to max out your tech tree.

in real life the sun has more resources in it than the entire solar system combined. given how energetic it is these resources aren't even stuck in the core either, so mining the sun is most likely the thing we will do in the future.

I’m excited for all the future Cities Skylines 2 content when it releases.

i like this game. It needs to be timed though with a time to point ratio score board. (Time vs Currency Spent score board, or a way to show who played the least time and got the furthest)
