The Martin Logan room was very cool. That was the first time I had ever heard them in person. I've seen their models for years but they were never being used. Very Very cool.
When the time comes for me to drop cash on an HT, I will be going with Danley Sound Labs' SBH10 for the base layer speakers with an SBH20FF crossed to a THmini for the center channel. Since our brain doesn't recognize timbre above our heads very well, I'll just be getting 6 of Perlisten's R3iCs. I'm also hoping to score a deal on 4 used TH118XL's by DSL as well. AND THEN, if I can have it all, I'll hand off the TH118XLs to two sealed 24's from GSG Audio or 2 DTS10s from DSL for infrasonics.
The Martin Logan subwoofer looks like the Balance Force model. If so, it is a dual sealed subwoofer and doesn't vibrate at high volume ls. You could stand a nickel on it at loud volumes. Rythmik and PSA make subwoofers using similar technologies with larger drivers, more power, and lower responses. Those type of sealed subwoofers are really cool, in my opinion.
Kyle, Very cool video bro! Thanks for sharing man, youre honestly one of my favorite influencers in this industry, so i hope you got some well deserved recognition while at the convention. You are a great representative of the average Joe HT enthusiast, with the credentials and social media following to back it up. Thumbs up to Jasmine for supporting you at the convention too!
