This video we drive my 1954 chevy pick up from Ontario Canada down to Atlanta Georgia for HOT ROD POWER TOUR, we broke the transmission on the drive down but still managed to drive the truck on the tour!

I had an '83 s-10,from new til '91 and the transmission was noisy for 5 years. I never did figure out what was wrong with it!

Congrats on bringing your '54 Chevy home! Any idea of mpg, fuel economy? Or, lack of economy?

Thanks! I never worked it out but we could go for about 3 1/2 hours at 65mph and it would cost about $32 US

@@TuquesNTires This must be how the EPA calculates mpg. At $3.90/gal and 180 miles for $32.00 did you really get 20 mpg U.S.?

@@richardguse3410 I’m pretty sure gas was $3.20 at most places, im not to sure if we actually got that mileage but I do know that the memory’s made are priceless!
