Yes. We have awful roads in almost all the places unless the road is freshly paved!! Lol I’m from the Kansas City area and our roads suck super bad! Lol
Also noticed that you were drawing some attention at the painless booth. People in the know will be able to spot the magnitude of what you have done with this car!! Good recognition of your talent. Brian
Hey, Zack! Did you notice at about the 12:46 time, the lettering on the tires was going backwards and the spokes in the wheels were going forward, pretty cool! one of those opticals. Great video! Brian
ya know, I've been around long enough to remember that car being built. I know the gents who built it as well as the driver of the C1. I lived just down the road 1/2 mile or so in the village of Shannonville, ON. My father was also in the stock car racing scene at that time. He and some of the same gents who built the C1 also help build a previous stocker a few years earlier. My father moved on with that car and go on to a winning career. The funny thing is that the original driver of the C1 chevelle would end up with my father a few years later building other winning cars - I have very fond memories of the racing scene back then. Wish I had of taken more pics tho. You have done a fantastic job breathing life into the old gal. Sure is cool to watch the old C1 cruise down the highway - well done and thank you
@@TuquesNTires I had that old Chevelle for about 7 or 8 years. Raced it from Hialeah Speedway down around Miami, to Orlando Speedworld to New Smyrna Speedway. It was a tough ole girl. Yea, I raised a little hell on the highway by my old house. Wish I still had it. Thanks for your Great Video Brother.
The Canadians will invade again!! Thank you very much for making our trip so enjoyable!! We'll send ya down some maple syrup and all dressed chip rations!
Considering the total shit heap that car was when you bought it that's quite remarkable. Might be one of the coolest ones on tour this year! Well done. And well done Dad
I am finishing a 2004 Jeep have videos but am technology inefficient. I reccommend buying an old surburban and using all the systems from it to adapt to what ever build your doing. Take the body off for easy access. Good show. Love the 70s Vette.
@@coffeecan7440 the car was an old stock car built in the 70’, the number on the side of the car is C1 and that was the number they ran back in the day on the car. Been converting it back to a street car but I’ve been calling it “the C1 Chevelle” because of the number.
I know this is a bit old now, but I have an S10 frame that I need to widen 4 inches total in the front. I love what you did here and great work. I was wonder though, since I only need 2 inches either side, would it not be easier to widen the control arms (A-arms) the 2 inches I need?
You could probably widen the control arms, but the only thing with that is you might change the suspension geometry a little and if you ever have to replace one you’d have to build another one, if I was to do it again I’d just widen the frame, might seem like more work but probably save you a bit a headaches later. I’m no expert tho, hopefully this is some food for thought!
If you ever get to the point where you make shirts for the channel you need to have some shirts about Lacey! She’s always making sure she’s front and center for ya 😂😂😂
