Wait I’m only like a minute in and I’m already having to exercide a lot of effort not to burst out laughing with my parents in the room.

It's edits like these that make me happy to be a Star Wars fan. I never expected this show to be perfect, I'm an animated Star Wars fan primarily, of course it was going to lack that same level of polish. Still, I'm glad for what we got. They brought Ezra home, Thrawn's back, and Hayden Christensen finally got the respect he deserves, with the best live-action Anakin we've seen. If that's not a net positive, I don't know what is. But yeah, the finale was rushed. Definitely a byproduct of being restricted to only eight episodes. I mean, Bad Batch got more twice as many episodes in its seasons than this*. Yet another reason why animated Star Wars (plus Andor**) is best Star Wars. And that includes the (good) video games, because that's technically animation. *Then again, that show only has half-hour episodes, whereas this has hour-long episodes, so it's really a similar amount of time (8 hours of content), with Boba Fett, Kenobi, and even S7 Clone Wars having less than that. **Which had a whopping 12 hours of content for its first season.

That clip when the Clone Wars flashbacks started and Thrawn returned was literally me. I need more Yuyang and Wzra and the two of them interactiong. Also Thrawn being Thrawn. Maybe Ahsoka’s so chill at the end because she thinks Wzra and Herra and co got this? Still she and Sabine really need to work on getting back and or following Baylan. Both require more urgency than they’re showing. But in all seriousness I loved this show for the most part.

Ezra really was the highlight of the series. He was the only one to get his sarcastic and mischievious personality right. All Ahsoka and Sabine ever did was smirk and say one-liner's at inappropriate times

I love this show, even if the first episode wasn't very good. Chopper was iconic. Baylon was Iconic. Shin was iconic. Huyang was iconic. Hera was either tolerable or a pain in the ass throughout. Sabine was ok up until the last 3 episodes, then I really fell in love with the live action version of her. Ahsoka was good until episode 4, than fantastic after that. Jacen was average. Thrawn and Ezra nailed coming into live action, both were iconic I for one didn't hate this show, although the transition for some of the characters coming into live action could've been smoother (Hera).

I love how this show had so much happen but also so little at the same time. Like it felt like they were fooling around. Sabine just was a useless lesbian, Ezra was his typical lacking safety awareness self, and Ahsoka was just being a girlboss. Kinda sad we didn’t see Zeb but hey he’s probably just chilling with Kallus (and we can’t fault him for that.) Personally I‘m REALLY happy that Ezra called Sabine his sister because literally I headcanoned they saw eachother as siblings. Also we got to see Jacen?!?! 😭😭😭 he got such a glowup I’m so proud of him. My favorite part of the show has to be Sabine and Shin being useless lesbians lmao. I really hope Wolfwren becomes more than just subtext and is actually explicitly stated unlike Kalluzeb which was mainly only subtext and hints but not actually stated. Idk this show was a mess and I loved it though, Wolfwren permeates my mind and seeing Jacen makes me so happy!!!
