I encountered a raccoon with a missing tail. 

On a refreshing summer night, we sat in the backyard, enjoying the cool breeze and engaging in lively conversation.
Suddenly, a rustling sound caught us off guard, and as we illuminated the area, there was a raccoon staring back at us.
It was both endearing and eerie at the same time. We managed to capture a video of the raccoon, but our hearts ached when we noticed that its tail seemed to be injured, likely the result of an accident.
The raccoon fled but found respite by sitting on the fence, watching us like a curious cat before eventually, we returning to its spot.
After a while, another rustling sound revealed the raccoon walking sideways while eyeing us, which brought smiles to our faces.
It felt surreal that this raccoon had unexpectedly shared our path, making this night a memorable one filled with laughter, thanks to the endearing little creature.
