Yeah, this is the mindset that MEDIA shows at like greatness. It depends of what your criteria for success is. In my opinion, success is how much you are surrounded by good people. Who of those "successful people" has honest friends with them? Who?? Who are Djokovic's most meaningful people? He said by himself "I have two angeles" and those are his kids. He has family, he has mother, father, brothers, wife you love him soo much. That's why he is success. He isn't success because he wins all those grand slams and I don't know what, but people that are around him. And he will tell you, all those grand slams, all thoee achievements, it means nothing comparing to his kidds, he would throw all that in garbage for his kidds. I don't know what is Tom Cruise successful at, what did he do in project "creating good men"?? He does some insanee sunts for those Mickey Mouse movies that promote violence, slaughter, killing, destruction... Tell me a moral movie that Tom Cruise made. He hasn't seen his dauther for years and years, HE IS SLAVE, he hasn't family and not just him, but 90% of those "successful people". That's why they are all depressed, that's why they are all deaply unhappy, that's why 99% of them drink acohol, or smoking cigarrete, or using drugs, or commit adultery, some of them participate in suicidal situations, but media and media and brainwashed fans portray yhem as "successful people". Don't kidding me, what kind of successful people are they? They are all great martyrs😂😂
@@hristijandimitrovski8664Success is Relative. To me, Success is when you can do the best that you could do. And ofcourse, Tom is a Success man., in some sense.
@@joefryhutagaol4276 ok bro. That's your opinion, good for you. I simply can't understand how somecan be successful is he hasn't family, friends and if he isn't happy. Thank God that Tom isn't soo bad, he tries to live as healthy life as possible consider the circumstances, but 90% of those "successful people" are smoking, using drugs, commit adultery... They are destroying their overall health (mental and physical). I havr no idea how those people can be successful. These are simply wrong values, they may be successful in this twisted world, but for rational thinking people, they cannot be successful.
Love him or hate him for his personal life choices, this mentality shows in his work. He helps make fantastic movies. Even when he ends up in ‘meh’ movies, Tom still nails his roles.
Love Tom cruise say what you want , admire this great man greatly , I love all his movies he gives you his best that’s a great actors job to his audience.
@@AliRaza-yf7bp and that's the worst part. Because everyone on this planet thinks on the same way. Successful in his proffecion, successful because of his popularitu, successful because of the money he makes. Nobody talks about the real success and that's how that person lives and how he feels. That's truly what success is, all these things don't mean anything if you don't live in right way. I can't see how some person can be successful without family, without goodbeing surrounded by good people... What success is that?? And people say he has money, soo??? He will die one day like all of us and his money won't be with him anymore. Those people are slave, not successful. But that's the point, that 90% of people have wrong idea about success, they believe what media says, media makes those people successful and after that all of us think they are successful... But in reality, it's not really the case.
@@hristijandimitrovski8664 It’s important to separate these things, you can acknowledge he has great habits when it comes to his professional life while also realizing his personal life is a mess. I don’t think anyone will take his advice when it comes to marriage or raising a child for example. I do agree with you though, your family and your character are far more important than anything else
The problem for me is that i dont have a passion. I have a hard time sleeping. I am always miserable bc of it. I hate working. I find every job pointless in the end. Ramdon tasks that mean nothing to me in the end. Sure you help people at every job but so what. Meaninglessness
@@MilkyWayGalaxyy am similarly somewhat lacking passion or find the fight for it to be too much. Perhaps you should get checked for ADD or depression. I know ADD meds make me feel optimistic & normal again. Perhaps you need to discover your passion because it seems like it’s missing due to the clouding of your mind that depression or blah feelings… nothing feels very exciting. Dig deep and ask yourself some questions like “when was the last time I lost track of time doing something”? Or “if money was no object… I would do X…”. Look up the Japanese concept of Ikagai or read what color is my parachute. For sleep, exercise (walk) and try GABA & melatonin.
Actors are among the most underemployed professionals in the country. Almost none of them get anywhere near his level of fame and success. So if you don’t love acting purely for acting’s sake you’re definitely gonna be in for a massive disappointment.
Hard work and most of all ‘humbleness’ pays up. And Tom cruise is one of the high profile people I admire for being so realistic and grounded and approachable.
Thanku Tom. I really needed to hear this right now, because I am dragging my feet in life and I have to start being a strong worker! Mission is Possible. 💪
Boy Cruise is amazing. I swear there's always so much negative press against people and I have come to respect him in so many ways. I think he's awesome and I love his movies and all of his efforts, he is truly a star.
I think you’re right but I don’t think he cares about a personal life. He says filming is a vacation. He travels, does his own stunts, and experiences so much of life and the world I’m not sure if that even matters to him.
I work 7 days a week too because life is short. I don't want to waste my time. Seeing my boss enjoy his time with his family while I am working at his business gives me immense satisfaction. My goal in life is to make other people Rich while I'm busy working 7 days a week
You would think if you realize that life is short that you would want to work less? That spending time with loved ones and doing fun things would give you more satisfaction
@@indrajeetv8878 nope people now a days are building muscle to get external validation, if that 6 pack abs goal comes within you, then that's great, but how many people just doing there work for their own health and happiness?
@leslieclark9285 this philosophy has nothing to do with Scientology I'm not a Scientologist and I agreed with everything he said in the video setting goals and working your ass off do whatever it takes to achieve.
He certainly is, regardless of what you may think about him on a personal level. My only wish is that he had more involvement with his daughter Suri. Every little girl needs their Dad in their life - they grow up so quick.
@@basilisk74... Perhaps he should have used the word - perfectionist - demanding, he should have devoted as much time to his family but then he wouldn't have had the adoration of his fan base ... Are Tom and John Travolta the face of Scientology to the Public? They say Lisa Marie went into witness protection to get away from Scientology, Tom and John T are males.
@Charlie-bi5kx Because it never seems like work! If you love what you do it's a pleasure to do it! For example like singing! If you love singing and or playing instruments and you get paid it's never work.
Tom, you have achieved much during your career and life. We all celebrate your achievements and successes. You have a lot to be proud of. Thank you for being so generous with your time and your talents. Bringing your characters to life on the silver screen. You are truly one of a kind amazing person. Thank you for staying true to yourself. Thank you for your adrenaline rush and boost of energy.
So your taking inspiration from a man who promotes a cult that makes escaped members “disappear”, has multiple photos online of physically abused members, and isolates members from their families and the outside world. Tom abandoned his daughter, loses his shit at the tiniest inconvenience, and took advantage of what was essentially slave labor. This monster is anything but inspirational
@@Rockiizzz looks have nothing to do with being a good person, but I can’t say 100% everything I said is true since I wasn’t there. I just trust the accounts of the many coworkers and escaped members since they’re all very similar
@@matteo3286he got the Honorary Palme d'Or at Cannes. But it isn’t about the awards for him the makes movies because he loves to make them and entertain. However he definitely deserves a lifetime achievement award
Tom Cruise always shows up. He never just dials it in. I saw him once on a red carpet premiere for an MI film in London signing autographs and taking selfies with fans for a solid hour and a 1/2 when I finally left. Total respect.
@@TiestoCalvinHarris you havent heard? There's a documentary out there that explains all the horrid shit they do to people when they try to leave scientology. I met him in DC at the AMC in Georgetown! I’m an employee there. All I can say is that he’s the most charismatic, gorgeous, humble, yet focused and professional actor I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting! Nothing but big smiles and lots of admiration and love from me!!❤❤❤

"I just studied films and learned on movie sets." Exactly!!!There are Sooooo many film credits ( from the 80s/90s not necessarily starring Cruise )that read acting coach..on camera acting coach.. movement coach.. dialect coach...fight choregrapher... This is what I want for ALL new actors. A chance!!! backed up by the best coaches and a REAL decent paycheck with residuals. Cruise always gives "scrappers" a chance. That's why he's so adored.
when u come from nothing, u work hard because u do not want to go back where u come from even if one already had achieved their goals, it is a part of u now.. story of my life.
He is absolutely right whether you do a job or a business or into media if you love your work we never feel like taking vacations or off we actually enjoy our work and that's our everyday holiday..
I have a lot of respect for Tom Cruise and how he became what he worked for all his life and earned his Dreams. It would be a pleasure to meet him one day for lunch or dinner. He's a terrific guy.
Absolutely get that...but even then, not taking anything for granted and doing your best working hard at the opportunities you grabbed with both hands not hesitating for a second, there are still moral values, and duties within family and circumstances outside of one's control that leave you no choice but to do the right thing by family members and friends and so then dreams disappear! If you are that person knowing you had artistic traits but couldn't follow them, there are those amongst you who understand watching my Dad (who played gigs at Eel Pie Island, England with the likes of Mick Jagger ) who understand. He is now coming to the end of his life now and as one of his children, I realise the sacrifices he made for us and others and can absolutely tell you there are many unsung artistic heroes.
Bullshit if he did my job or any other blue collar 12 to 14 hours a day he'd be aching and falling into bed every night wishing he didn't have to do the same thing again the next day.
