Yeah in dreams

No & it's genuine for Thar. It is less aerodynamic, having more weight,a turbo charged engine with more power, big 18 inch tyres. So definitely it will deliver less than Brezza. But it's not a short-coming of Thar.

Thar is unique in segment cannot be compared with family cars like brezza, nexon xuv 300, sonet......under sub 4 meter category. Thar is proper off-roader for adventure lovers.

Agreed with this point, the air inside the tank leads to autocut more often than not

Its a 4x2 , both are gonna be waste in hills caz this aint for offrroad , u will burn ur clutch on off roads

@@CarProblemsolution other channels have done that, what they were getting is 4-5 kmpl less then mid, so what he said was correct, mid it was showing 16 he got 11-12, other youtuber got 19 on mid got 14-15.5 so milage is quite less then what is shown in mid

Khud chala kar. Ab kisi aur pe toh kya hi comment karein. We drove it like it’s supposed to be driven, 90-100 on highways with AC on all the time.

We drove it mainly around 80-100kmph with AC on all the time. The objective was not to set a mileage record but to check if it can give that much with normal driving.

@@ICN no as per auto-cut to auto-cut. Also I must note that my unit's fuel gauge counter isn't off by more than 0.3 to 0.4 kmpl. In this particular unit it's way off from what you guys are getting in reality. Mahindra should look into quality control issues. Some of my friends with the 4x4 Thar also have the same issue, the MID shows unrealistic fuel readings like above 20 kmpl when in reality they're getting 14-15.

@@shubhammukherjee4830 A lot depends on the way it's driven. some people are getting 16 kmpl when driven to achieve economy and not pushing beyond 85-90. The weather in this video was smoggy, it adds to the bad aerodynamics of the car, maybe that too contributed to low figures. Also, i think the car was pushed to 100 kmph as well through sudden acceleration..

@@Unknown_Minion yes totally. 90-95 is the best economy zone for the 2.2. The engine is very well capable of cruising at 120 or 125 coz the engine sits at 2000 rpm happily but at those speeds it drinks like anything and Thar's dynamics are not the best for high speed cruising. Regardless of what anyone tells you that it can do 150, 170 , yes it can do those speeds, but it's dynamics are not designed for those speeds.
