In theory, if some one plays straight for 17 hrs a day (assuming 7 hrs of sleep) and win every game (at 25 points) it would only take around 10 days to get that number. That has been out for a while now so that number is possible.

Ok let's do the math: it took Ryu about 23 minutes for 8 matches so let's take that as a rough indication of the average time spent per race, including load times and wait times, which gives us 23:8=2.875 minutes Let's say you can manage to get 20 points per race on average mostly first places and good results otherwise. then to get 99.000 points you would need 99.000:20= 4950 races to get there. Which means 4950x2.875=14.231,25 minutes which is 237,1875 hours. I mean there are plenty of games I've spent more than 250 hours on so, it's pretty reasonable overall. Especially since the game has been out since 2014.

Big blue has 1 massive short cut and another near the end. Also when your in first always keep 1 coin you will always get a shell Bananna of some kind, use the wiggler kart with waluigj combo and always aim for purple boost hopping around before the corner will give you extra angle to get purple boost. Keep posting more mk8d content I love it.

The 99999 VR Player has probably played since day 1. The game has been out for about 4 years now so it's expected there might be a group of 99k VR players. Then again, the game likely has hacks (it's an old game after all) so it could very well be hacked but I think it would be more evident if it were hacks. I did see them leave in the middle of a race at the 14:42 mark so maybe they are legit and don't want to lose unnecessary VR.

Yeah, 99k players are legit Ryu. They were around within the first year of the game. They usually are not matched with 4 digit players though so you never see them, unless it's thru a friend inviting them. I have about 40k VC with just under 400 hours total played. So this can be done within about a year of playing.
