Faouzia is incredible. can't wait for more reactions! All of her songs are amazing, even the unreleased one's. I would recommend listening to either "Bad Dreams", or "Tears Of Gold" stripped. Both show off her singing ability, as well as her songwriting.
Thank you for reacting. Faouzia dropped a snippet of this song 3 years ago. I don’t think she ever intended to do more with it. But the fans wanted her to finish it. Two years ago she sent this version out to the world. I assume the video with simple the blue and red coloration, was made at home. Last year it was included in her ‘Citizens’ EP/album/compilation. Seems to have struck a chord with the audience. She’s been incorporating more Moroccan sounds into her music since this. From an interview: “About two years ago, I found this really beautiful, yet eerie, almost siren-sounding synth sound on the music program on my computer and immediately knew I had to do something with it. I started writing the lyrics and then took matters into my own hands to produce and engineer it myself at home. This was really fun and exciting because I hadn’t done that since I was about 14 or 15 years old. I think this song is something a lot of fans will relate to because it expresses that feeling of distrust, frustration, and heartbreak.” Thanks again.

The official release of her song “Hero” is pure pop if you want to go that direction. The video is Barbie princess meets 8 bit Mortal Combat. There are two other versions. One is an orchestral version with real stringed instruments. The other is a one-take, live version that is very simple, just piano. If you want more Arabic, try “RIP, Love”. And there is only a visualizer, lyric video. So less to get distracted by. But there is something interesting in all her songs.
